"I was diagnosed with von Willebrand disease and started taking Thalomid in January 2018, 200 mg/day to stop angiogenesis in the intestines, leading to multiple gastrointestinal (GI) bleeds. I started to experience peripheral neuropathy, and the dosage was lowered to 50 mg/week in the first few months. I have had no GI bleeds to date. VWF and factor VIII are still less than 10%. APTT average high 50s (seconds). Still have lower leg peripheral neuropathy, but not getting worse."
