For Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia "I'm 40 and was prescribed Rapaflo after blood flow to my groin was compromised due to hip alignment post-accident. I was experiencing poor urine flow, pain, and erectile dysfunction symptoms. Within a couple of hours on Rapaflo, my groin pain went away and blood flow increased. I have large, long-lasting erections, but no ejaculation and reduced orgasm. I've taken to cycling on and off Rapaflo, 3-4 days on / a week to two off, so my ejaculations are only compromised for a couple of days, but the effects seem to last a couple of weeks."

For Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia "In 2009, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Two tumors. Underwent 42 treatments of radiation. My choice over surgery. Had two shots of Lupron six months apart to kill the testosterone and help the radiation do the job. Cancer gone and PSA tests less than 1 ever since. Started taking Rapaflo 8 mg every night, and it helped me sleep at least 3 or 4 hours without having to get up to the bathroom so often. I think the radiation hurt my bladder and the result was frequent urination. Anyway, to the point. The Rapaflo works, but I cannot experience a normal ejaculation. But when I quit taking the Rapaflo for a week or more, I can with extreme pain, both from the penis and the area of the prostate. It is a burning sensation. Have tried twice."

For Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia "Age 46. Started Avodart (silodosin) 8 mg daily. Caused prolonged erections, slightly painful, and I was forced to stop taking it. Now taking dutasteride 0.5 mg every other day (I have learned that effectiveness is the same as taking daily, but side effects are far more common). Silodosin was effective for BPH, though. If you don’t face priapism with this drug, I would say give it a try."

For Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia "Have benign prostatic hyperplasia and tried Rapaflo for two weeks. For me, there were too many side effects to continue any longer. Here they are, starting with the most annoying: no orgasm-was completely unable to reach orgasm after the first dose; throat swelled up and had a hard time swallowing; nasal congestion; blurry vision; earache; jaw ache; increased inflammation."
