Sildenafil for Erectile Dysfunction "This is an absolutely fantastic medication, has vastly improved intimacy and sex with partner, self-confidence and self-esteem. I was hard enough to penetrate but would lose erection, and this, while partner was fully supportive and patient, would cause upset and tension, sex was not a pleasant experience. For Sexual Dysfunction, SSRI Induced "In Oct 2017, I had a leg injury that required some stitches. They gave me a synthetic painkiller drug called Ultram and then additionally gave me another drug called Zofran for nausea while I was on 100 mg of Zoloft daily. Painkiller Ultram mixed with Zofran mixed with Zoloft created serotonin syndrome, which lasted damn near 12 weeks. Additionally, it gave me high blood pressure of 295 over 150 and hospitalized me. So now I'm kind of freaked out to take any type of pharmaceutical drug whatsoever, and I check everything that may affect the SSRI and cause that serotonin syndrome. Fortunately, that's not the case with Viagra, it appears that it's plenty safe to take an SSRI. I take about 25 mg, it kicks in about half an hour, lasts almost a full day off and on, and I get a slight headache, that's about it. Good luck and check all drug interactions..."

Sildenafil for Erectile Dysfunction "I'm 71 and have been using Viagra or sildenafil for about a year. It is a wonderful drug, but getting the dosage right is critical. I can still get an erection without help, but it had become a bit unreliable. I started off taking half a 50 mg tablet. It certainly worked, but I felt it was just a bit too much. I now cut the tablet into 4 and find a quarter of a tablet makes all the difference and barely gives me any side effects. The half-tablet dose was too much for me. It gave a very strong erection but reduced the sensations and gave me a slight headache. So I reckon it's worth experimenting to find the minimum dose you can get away with. (NB the low dose works better on a reasonably empty stomach)"

The erection was rock hard, and the sex was long-lasting with my wife, who orgasmed twice. But I couldn't reach orgasm, even though I was rock hard. I had flushing in my face and a slight headache. When I first started taking it, I got quite a bit of blue vision, some mild headache, and stuffy nose. I've been cutting my 50s in half and taking them about 30-60 minutes before sex. From the get-go, I have always had nice, hard erections that lasted plenty. Here is what I found can weaken the effect of Viagra: 1) fatty foods - do NOT eat a big, greasy burger and then take Viagra expecting a big one... 2) alcohol - I can have a few beers spread over the evening, but any more than that lessens the effect or doesn't last as long as it would normally. My insurance covers my prescription for only $20, but I only get 6 pills a month, 18/90 days, so I'm going to 100s, still cut them."

For Erectile Dysfunction "Was prescribed generic sildenafil by my Dr for ED. The drug worked slightly at first, still not enough to help achieve full erection. Drug has a very short life, only up to about 4 hours. A year later, the drug doesn't work at all anymore, regardless of dosage. Also, the side effects are not worth it anymore, severe headache, dehydration, and insomnia. I have an entire year supply that I'll be bringing to my Rx recycling program."
