For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I commented before - 9 days in, and I had lost 6 lbs. Just went today for my 1-month doctor's visit to see my progress. I have lost 14.7 lbs, and my already normal blood pressure actually dropped into an even healthier number! Still taking 10 mg daily and still no side effects other than I'm a bit more thirsty and my mouth has a mildly strange taste sometimes. So, all good news! I am starting to feel excited about the way I look and feel again. 1st time in a few years. Let's hope it continues on this path. My doctor was thrilled with my results!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started taking Meridia 3 weeks ago. In the first week, I lost 6 lbs, but I totally cut out all major carbs, e.g., bread, rice, fries. It definitely got me in the right frame of mind to eat better. Since it is not cheap, I was determined to go through with it. Yes, it works if you're determined. Side effects: terrible taste in mouth (can live with that). Constipation - a little concerning, but when it got bad, I skipped taking the drug for a couple of days, and it would be normal. Another concerning side effect that is listed is blood in the stool or bad period pains. I have not had a period in 4 years and got one after taking the drug for 2 weeks. I am going to put the drug on hold for a bit and try it again in a few weeks. Recommended? Yes."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started taking 10 mg of Meridia 9 days ago. So far, I have lost 6 pounds. As for side effects, honestly, I really can't say that I can even tell that I am taking the pill. The only thing that comes to mind is one night I had a slightly strange taste in my mouth and was more thirsty than normal. This pill really works. I feel more motivated to work out and eat healthy, the $120 price tag may have something to do with that too. At dinner, halfway through my salad I'm full, I've honestly had no problem resisting the temptations of Starbucks mochas and the large bowl of mini candy bars at work. Something that would have been basically unheard of before. So, 6 lbs down, 35ish more to go. Wish me luck!"
