For Postherpetic Neuralgia "I was prescribed Lidoderm patches by an ER doctor for a pulled muscle. I had a severe allergic reaction. I have painful blisters, numbness, red, irritated skin. I can barely move the left side of my body. I’m in constant pain from the patches, it’s worse than the pulled muscle pain. I’ve never been in such pain in my life. This drug is very, very dangerous."

For Pain "I was prescribed this for reflux pain. I had such bad pain tonight. I almost couldn’t mix it. I tried to mix it with liquid antacid and could barely do it. After taking it, the pain was gone in just a couple of minutes. My mouth was numb, but it was worth it to have the pain gone."

For Pain "Was prescribed this for a severe sore throat. I was really nervous to take this because it’s more like a gel. I measured out 10 ml and swished it around and then swallowed. The medicine tastes like lube. That’s the only thing I can compare it to. And my mouth is numb, but it didn’t really do anything to my sore throat."
