For Pain "I recently was prescribed Lidoderm patches. I was impressed with the relief I got from sore muscles and joints. Later that night, I noticed my shoulder was extremely tender to touch, and when I looked at it, it was severely bruised and the skin was blistering and peeling, like frostbite. So watch heat and cold while using this patch!"

For Pain "Put the patch on for nighttime relief. Woke up the next morning with blisters and welts in the area. I now know the extent of the medication - the blisters and red marks - like a second-degree burn spread throughout an area 2 - 3 times the size of the patch. Sitting, leaning back has been difficult. Wearing clothing has been difficult. Laying in bed has been painful. The doc has given me an ointment for my skin and meds for the pain. The blisters have drained today. The burnt skin is still there. This was the first time I used this product."

For Postherpetic Neuralgia "I was prescribed Lidoderm patches by an ER doctor for a pulled muscle. I had a severe allergic reaction. I have painful blisters, numbness, red, irritated skin. I can barely move the left side of my body. I’m in constant pain from the patches, it’s worse than the pulled muscle pain. I’ve never been in such pain in my life. This drug is very, very dangerous."
