Reviews for Lecithin

“My triglycerides have been very high, had the number down to 257 and someone mentioned lecithin. After two months 1200mg capsule twice a day the number is 163, lowest it's been in 20 years. I'm sure it will be lower next blood test. Will know in about 2 weeks.”

“I have taken lecithin for over 20 yrs. For me it has reduced excess body fat. I have dieted with and without it. With it I lost more inches, weigh 100lbs. and size 2. It does take excess body fat away if you are really trying to loose weight.”

Lecithin-Softgels (lecithin): “Had Strep Throat. Went to the doctor; he gave me penicillin; took it for 10 days; a week later I had a relapse; I went back to the doctor, more penicillin; I took it for 10 days, week later I had a relapse. Then I went to a homeopathic nurse. She explained the idea of using lecithin, an emulsifier, to help the system clean itself out and also help with my cat allergy. At my parents house I slept outside in a tent to avoid the cats. By day 3 taking the lecithin, as well as some vitamin C, I had no more strep throat and it didn't come back. By the end of the week, I could walk around inside the house with only a mild effect on my breathing from the cats. Since 1981, whenever I got sinusitis, laryngitis, bronchitis, or strep throat, I always took lecithin, and vitamin C, not antibiotics. I visited the Korean pharmacy in Korea and discovered that they had lecithin oil with garlic oil in one capsule, which worked even better. Now I take lecithin+vitamin C+ garlic as my cold remedy.”

“I took it to regrow nerve tissue and it worked. It takes a few weeks to months to work but it made all my other skills from touch to twitch insanely better, I play the piano better then Beethoven and Mozart. It's side effects when you stop gives you weird eating disorders like anorexia. ”

“I was skeptical of all I had read about the benefits of Lecithin for male health. I am a believer now after about 4 months of taking with little changes to diet and exercise other than a bit more water intake. I have noticed a significant change in my metabolism and seem to actually be losing belly fat! I am not overweight or fat but have certainly lost the tone I had in my younger days. I had also read that this supplement can increase the stimulation of male climax and increase the amount of fluid during ejaculation. Let me just say that my orgasms are incredible. The orgasm lasts longer and is much more intense. ”

“I began taking lecithin regularly years ago after diagnosis of a blockage in a heart artery to help reduce bad cholesterol since I did not want to take statins. Tried a couple statins and had side effects. My doctor was surprised and pleased that my LDL level had improved at my annual physical. I ran out of it and then forgot to replace and wasn’t taking it regularly so on my next blood work LDL was higher. Of course age, diet and exercise also need to be factored.”

“I tried sunflower lecithin for energy, cognitive function and liver repair. My course was not long maybe a week or slightly more. It did help with cognition, energy and resulted in much healthier looking stool which I'm assuming is the liver assisting effect. Unfortunately I developed first cramps and then diarrhea on this. It also seemed to cause insomnia. I just took one 1200mg pill a day which is double the RDA but you can't find a smaller dose pill out there. I guess you could do a smaller dose with granules. I would keep taking but my gut can not handle it. I see this is a common symptom. They disappeared when I stopped. Disappointed ;--(”

“Lecithin 2400 mg each day for a month gets rid of herpes outbreaks. Lysine is more popular but that only aids to suppress it. Lecithin on the other hand just gets rid of the outbreaks altogether!”

“I've used lecithin for over 15 years. I feel it helps me from being sluggish. When I've stopped using it, I seem to have a lite trouble breathing. Don't know if that's why but I feel better taking it.”
