For Lactose Intolerance "Two nights ago, I indulged in some ice cream and decided it would be a good idea to take 2 Lactaid pills with it. Wrong! Yesterday, I was sick as could be with multiple unpleasant bathroom visits, cramping, nausea, chills, etc. Apparently, based on the other reviews here, I was one of the luckier ones. Now, 48 hours later, I’m finally feeling like myself again. I threw away the rest of the package. Do yourself a favor and avoid these."

For Lactose Intolerance "After not having many issues with any dairy other than ice cream, I decided to try Lactaid in order to be able to enjoy the delicious treat of vanilla ice cream once more...but I regret everything now. Not only did it not do Jack squat, but my symptoms of lactose intolerance are even worse now. Usually, I can get away with just a little bit of gas, and I'm fine, but now I have nausea, diarrhea, gas, and bloating. Worst decision ever!!! This product deserves negative stars!!!"

For Lactose Intolerance "Like many others have reported, I tried taking Lactaid only twice and became violently ill 4 hours afterward each time. I will not try it again. Like many things, it sounds like it works for some but not others. I suggest you plan ahead when trying it. The first time I took it with ice cream and thought it was a reaction to the ice cream or only taking two pills. I tried it again a week later before a meal containing small amounts of dairy and had the same result. I wish I had known this doesn’t work for everyone and may cause worse symptoms than lactose intolerance digestive upset alone."

For Lactose Intolerance "This made me so much sicker than the discomfort I experience from eating dairy. Twice now I've ended up with overwhelming nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. I only figured it out because both of these happened after using Lactaid. There's no warning on the box at all, but trust me, it's horrible. It takes about 3 days to feel better."

For Lactose Intolerance "Took 2 chewable lactose tablets approximately 4 minutes prior to having sausage gravy with milk. Before I took my first bite of food, my abdomen was bloated with gas (we're talking 45-60 seconds of flatulence). This is worse than just having milk. Nausea accompanied, within another 8-10 minutes, and diarrhea within 30 minutes. I'd taken it before and it worked about half the time. One thing to note: I am on a carnivore diet for the past 4 years, so my gut biome is drastically different than what it used to be. Without taking Lactaid and staying away from milk products, I do not have gas ever. Nor do I get diarrhea. I am strict on this diet. I had no biscuits with this meal, only eggs and sausage gravy made with milk, but the symptoms started before my first bite of food and only after taking the medication. So there's an anecdotal correlation and only a possible causation. More studies should be done."

For Lactose Intolerance "This worked once or twice. Four days ago, I became ill after taking these pills, not knowing what my problem was. I was vomiting, had diarrhea, and was shaking. I had other symptoms but I ended up going for a COVID test because I was so ill. Only 4 days passed, and I took the pills again tonight. Here I am, typing this from the bathroom floor, extremely nauseous, and just had diarrhea. DO NOT BUY THESE. It is not worth the bathroom time and how rubbish they make you feel."
