For Cough and Nasal Congestion "It helped with the runny nose and cough, but I think the side effects made it not worth taking. The first hour was the immediate release, and it made me feel nervous, anxious, dizzy, nauseous, and I had awful tremors. After the first hour, I came down a bit and didn't feel as awful. Couldn't get any sleep on it, and being a mom of a one-year-old boy, I definitely need my sleep. I won't be taking it again. Going to go back to DayQuil, NyQuil, cough drops... Not for everyone."

For Cough and Nasal Congestion "I experience sinus problems frequently, mostly from allergies, probably. I have headaches and a stuffy nose, etc. This medication is wonderful. I should receive money for how many times I have recommended this to people. I feel like I can even think clearer when I take this. I rarely experience side effects. Maybe one time I had dizziness. Great product."

For Cough and Nasal Congestion "My sister recommended this to me while I was experiencing several nasal congestion and cough. The product works GREAT WHEN USED AS DIRECTED. She suggested taking 2 (12 hour) pills instead of the one that was suggested on the box. (She had done this and thought I'd be okay.) I experienced VERY SEVERE side effects. I became extremely lightheaded, dizzy beyond belief, loss of concentration, and severe loss of appetite. I literally felt like I was walking on clouds. I suggest also not taking this at night as it will keep you up ALL night. One pill in the morning is enough to get you by."

For Cough and Nasal Congestion "When I took Mucinex D maximum strength for the first time, I did have great relief of congestion, but I also experienced a very scary rapid heartbeat, dizziness, and anxiety. The anxiety may be due to feeling like I had something really wrong going on, I'm not sure. I have taken many different OTC medications through the years and have never had an experience like this one."

For Cough and Nasal Congestion "I went to Urgent Care Center today for a sinus infection. I got a prescription and was told to take Mucinex D. I took it a couple of hours ago, and I've been feeling weird ever since. It's ineffective so far, and I feel kind of dizzy. I want it out of my system NOW."

For Cough and Nasal Congestion "I took it at about 5 pm today when my cough was getting worse. It is now 5:30 am, and I haven't slept one bit. I am so jittery, nauseous, and dizzy. My heart is racing, and my whole body is shaking. My cough is significantly better, but the fact that I will not be getting sleep tonight for even a minute is quite the turn-off. I will never take this drug again."

For Cough and Nasal Congestion "I have suffered from allergic rhinitis all my life: dry, swollen sinus; sinus pressure; headaches; blurry vision; dizziness; lethargy; all sorts of cognitive problems because of the lack of oxygen to my body and brain due to thickened mucus in my respiratory system; not to mention frequent bacterial infections due to accumulated mucus secretions. I had tried every other medicine under the sun. Mucinex has taken all that away, and my quality of life has improved 150%. I strongly recommend Mucinex for those with sinus problems due to allergic rhinitis, or anyone who suffers from sinus or any sort of respiratory congestion."
