"I have had two iron infusions of 500 mg each, 4 weeks apart. Prior to the first infusion, my ferritin level was at 5. After the second infusion, the ferritin level had improved to 516. 4 months later, my ferritin level is now sitting at 435. This is a fantastic medication, and I am quite pleased with the initial results. I have had no side effects, the fatigue is gone, and I have more energy. I will check my ferritin levels again every 3 months and hope to learn how to stabilize my ferritin levels and prevent iron deficiency anemia from reoccurring. I got a requisition to go through SRx Pharmacy, and my work insurance covered 80%. My out-of-pocket cost was approx. $250 per infusion - well worth the benefits. I am really interested to read patient reviews on changes in their ferritin levels over time, I haven't found much online so far."

"Got 1000 mg infusion last week, and it was fast and easy, with no side effects as of yet. I am feeling the brain fog lifting already from iron deficiency. It was more costly than Venofer, but my benefits covered it, so pretty pleased to not have to come in for multiple infusions!"
