For Anorexia "Took my first dose last night before dinner. I have always had a poor appetite and have had to force myself to eat a meal or two throughout the day before actually feeling hunger pains at dinner time. After the 5 mg dose last night, I started feeling 'high' after about 30 minutes. About an hour later, I started hallucinating and having paranoia about dying. I had my husband take me to the hospital. I was given Ativan to relax me and am still feeling some of the effects today. It's like the absolute worst hangover ever. The ER doctor said that maybe 5% of the population would have this sort of reaction to it, and I just so happen to have been in that 5%. :/"

Dronabinol for Anorexia "My grandmother was given this in the hospital for anorexia and nausea. She began having tremors after the first dose. It was discontinued, and we are on the second full day post discontinuation, and she is still shaking, severe hallucinations, and mental status changes."
