For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I took Tenuate 25mg 5 years ago for 6 months and lost 55 pounds. After hurting my foot and not being able to exercise I gained back most of the weight over a five year period. My doctor gave it to me again in May of 2013 and I have lost 45 pounds. I weaned myself off of it and am maintaining my weight now with diet and exercise. I love my doctor for suggesting this for "women my age" (40s)!! It works great!!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I was over weight and prediabetic. I have been on Tenuate 75mg since January 1, 2014. I was about 157 and have lost 16.4 pounds. I have substantially cut down on my food intake. This medicine suppresses my urges to overeat. I now eat small portions easily with less desire for sweets. I have cut down on my sugar and carbs. My doctor said I had to lose weight because my blood sugar was in a prediabetic range. I feel this medicine has been wonderful and effective! I am very pleased and delighted since I was having difficulty taking the weight off. I hope this is helpful to others."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Tenuate is the best. After having my second child in April 2012 I blew up to a whopping 300 pounds. In October of 2012 I went to my doctor and he tried me on Tenuate for 1 month. This was the best decision ever. Tenuate not only controlled my appetite, it helped me eat smaller portion. I had a 30 day supply and made it last for 2 months. By December I went down to 280lbs. In January I started counting my calories on my own without the help of pills and its mid February now I'm down to 250. Tenuate showed me how I should eat and it may have "shrunk" my stomach. I also walk a mile every day, which helped speed up my weight loss process. If I can do it, you can too. Good Luck."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Hi, everyone I wanted to wait until I finish the entire bottle, before I came and did a review. So I went to my doctor who is awesome and she put me on Tenuate. My starting weight was 210 lbs, I started my first pill on May 24, 2013. I will be honest in my review. I started the week off strong eating right, exercising twice a day, making sure I stay within my 1200 calories daily. The exercises I did was walking and fitness blender. I made sure I drank plenty of water and the first week I lost 6.2 lbs. I was so excited and that push me to keep going that second week I lost 3 lbs and third week I lost 3lbs and so forth. As of now I'm 195.8lbs. I love this pill."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Best diet pill so far. I've been on 25mg twice a day for a week and I'm loving it. I'm usually not good on any medication. Even some medications for my stomach can make me feel dizzy and weird. I'm so happy with Tenuate. I don't feel nothing but like a good feeling. I'm way more energetic. My mouth is always dry but I'm drinking a lot of water so it's ok. I haven't felt dizzy at all. Haven't had any weird heart beat. Nothing. I'm eating half of what I was eating before I was put on Tenuate. So far so good!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Loved this medicine at start a month ago. Lost 9 pounds. I am not obese but after a hard year and surgery I had to give up exercise. I gained almost 20 lbs in two years and I was miserable. My doctor realized I needed a kick start and prescribed this... I LOVED ... I have been more attentive and energetic and not eating just for the sake of eating or being bored. After a month I feel like my body is too used to it and not the same as day one ... But I am going to keep going and try to lose 10 more pounds... However I will say that I have not had bad side affects at all ..."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started taking adipex but the insomnia and other side effects were just becoming unbearable so my doctor switched me over to tenuate 75mg ER . Besides the side effects listed tenuate has been pretty bearbable vs adipex and I can cope with the few side effects they are not too bad . I have noticed for me that the weight loss is slower on tenuate but as long as I am eating right and excercising the weight comes off . I'm losing 1-2 pounds a week so I'm staying on target and at a healthy weight loss . At the begining you will lose the first week for me it was 7 pounds then after 2 weeks it slowed to 1.5 pounds a week . You have to eat healthy choices & excerise or u will just gain back what u lost."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I went on this to help get a jump start on my weight loss. I have lost 34.2 pounds in 3 months and am so happy with the results. I can really tell that I have lost the weight. I have so much energy than before. I would recommend this to anyone that is seriously overweight. It's literally saving my life."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I was prescribed to phentermine last year and had amazing results but I lost it so quickly I gained it back. So my doctor re prescribed it to me and for some odd odd reason I had the worlds worst side effects so he put me on Tenuate. So far, in the past oh say 6 days I have felt...normal. which is a good thing. I'm not eating as much and definitely am enjoying working out! This pill is awesome. Though when I went to the doctor I was 147 I don't plan on weighing myself until I go back or my pants start falling loose (because that'll get me extra curious). I definitely feel though that I have possibly lost a a few pounds, hope so. I recommend this pill to anyone who wants to lose weight and not feel like a crack head like you will on phentermine!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been taking the 75mg for 2 months now. I have lost 43lbs so far. I can't believe how much it helps with my hunger. Before I would be hungry all day, and I would eat all day. Now I stick with a 1000 calorie diet, and I make sure I eat breakfast, and all my meals are much smaller portions. There are even days I skip a dose, and I wouldn't even know it. I would recommend it for anyone who has fought with their weight over the years. After only 2 months I have been able to stop taking my blood pressure medicine."

I have noticed that it is not working as well now as it did in the first week or two. At the beginning I was never hungry, I would have to force myself to eat something. Now, I have noticed the hunger pains. I am hoping to loose another 11 lbs."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I love this pill. I'm 46, 5'9" and weigh 294lb when I started back on this pill a 9 days ago. Down 10lbs. I am on a doctor supervised liquid diet plan. He prescribed me Tenuate because I never forgot this little helper because on the same style diet plan with tenuate I lost 90lbs about 16 years ago. After my weight loss journey 16 years ago I put back the weight about 5.5 lbs a year. :-( well now I'm back at it just older now. But this little pill hasn't changed, still great. Minimal side effects. I am experiencing side effects of a dry mouth ( so I'm drinking more water) and Insomnia. The insomnia isn't crazy but I'm wide awake for the late late show, whereas I didn't use to be. I'll take the extra TV time over being a over weight any day. Ask your doctor about this pill. It works."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "It's not true what they say about only taking it for a few weeks. I have been taking it for almost 2 years. I got off it for two months and I noticed I was hungrier. In fact I was so hungry I gained 7lbs those two months. Then I re-started the pill and lost the weight again. I lost a total of 90lbs and maintained them since starting the Tenuate and exercise. I eat the same foods but smaller portions and exercise 4-5 times a week. I am now slowly decreasing my strength but to be honest I'm afraid to be completely off it. Might be more of a mental thing. I never had any side effects and see my doctor every 3 months for a blood pressure check and every 6 months for blood work to make sure it hasn't affected my liver/kidneys. I would recommend this medication anytime."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started Tenuate in Mid March and now am down 40 lbs. I use Tenuate along with a low calorie diet and moderate exercise. I just reached one of my first goals which was to be <200 lbs. That was a big step for me. I haven't been this small since my first pregnancy back in 1995. I still have a long way to go but I am very happy with the outcome this far. I usually skip the Tenuate on the weekends because I tend to not eat breakfast on weekends. If I don't eat an hour or so after taking the pill in the mornings, I get a little jittery. I would recommend this to anyone looking to lose big numbers. I weigh in with my doctor once a month and she monitors my blood pressure, etc. Couldn't be happier."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I've been taking 75 mg of Tenuate for 4 months now and have lost a total of 40 lbs and intend to lose another 15. I dropped the most weight during the first 2 months and then slowly added a few more calories to my diet to slow down the weight loss and back off the pills so that I don't put more weight back on when I'm totally off them. It takes discipline and I now eat lots of fruits and vegetables. This pill is really amazing and you do have to sometimes remind yourself to eat. There are some days (when I don't take the pill) that I feel hungry and eat more so I always try to eat less the next day. So far that's working. Since I'm 60 yrs old my Dr. has been monitoring me very carefully but I've had no issues whatsoever."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Amazing, I have been taking only 50 mg of this for 8 weeks. I have lost 31 lbs 3 sizes, I don't feel racey or speedy or weird, I feel good, if I miss a dose I don't feel it. Missed it for 4 days and didn't gain any weight. I am also eating really well and exercising! I recommend this if you have tried other things and they haven't been successful. I am a 31 year old mother of 5. Nothing else worked this is my miracle!"

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I've tried Tenuate 2 years ago to lose weight. It WORKED then and now I'm older and have high blood pressure and a bad back so I needed a boost again! Still works the same in lowering my hunger, lost 5 lbs in 2 days! 35lbs more to go and I'm VERY confident I'm going to succeed. Mine are 75 mg. No side effects with the exception of dry mouth. I drink more water."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I was prescribed Tenuate extended-release tabs because of my caffeine sensitivity. Of course, I noticed a change but not the jittery/shaky feeling that comes with harsh stimulants. My side effects included nausea, constipation, blurred vision (which I didn't associate to the meds). I lost 15 pounds over a three month period including the winter holiday period but noticed after that I was not losing anymore. Two months later and a 6 lb weight gain, I've decided to stop taking the meds. Immediately, I noticed extreme exhaustion and an inability to get going."

For Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I just started the time release, this is my third day. I have always been hesitant because about 6 years ago I started suffering from severe panic attacks and since then I have had a hard time with anything that gets my heart rate going or makes my body feel weird including caffeine. So exercise would trigger panic attacks, I finally got them under control with meds but I weigh 277 pounds not a number I usually say out loud. So anyways I am not having any major jitters or anything, I have dry mouth really bad but can work with it. I do find that I have no appetite and food taste a little different but not craving to eat all the time. I am down to 269lbs, which is probably water weight. I am staying hopeful because I really need my life back."
