"After the 2nd Pfizer shot, I was in the hospital with very low blood pressure. Two days afterwards, starting to have rashes on elbows, knees, butt, and head. One month later, I have them everywhere. The doctor gave me 100 mg of dapsone, and it cleared up in 3 weeks. Every time the doctor reduced to 50 mg, I started breaking out again. Still on 100 mg after 1 year of taking. The doctor says I will most likely have to take it for the rest of my life."

"I have been taking dapsone since December 2007 for (rare) linear IgA disease. I was increased to 100 mg 1X day. Severe anemia set in. Hospitalized and given 2 blood transfusions. It's true that some people have a bad reaction and can develop anemia. Taken off medicine and skin blisters returned. Anemia went away! Am currently on 25 mg 1X day. Less effective, but helps some. I think dapsone is probably very effective to clear skin-- but can wreck hemoglobin, etc."
