Carbamide peroxide otic for Ear Wax Impaction "I wish I had read this thread before I bought this garbage. I put it in my ear, heard the sizzling thinking it was working, had my head tilted for several minutes, then nothing came out. After 2 hours of not being able to hear out of that ear, my hearing finally came back. I experienced bad vertigo and dizziness, and now have a headache. The rest of the bottle is going in the garbage."

Carbamide peroxide otic for Ear Wax Impaction "Horrible, horrible, horrible, used it to try and clean out my ear since it has been feeling clogged. Been deaf for the past 2 hours, feels like someone put a 50-pound dumbbell on my right ear. Ear feels worse and experiencing dizziness and vertigo as well, do not use."

Carbamide peroxide otic for Ear Wax Impaction "I have been told I have very narrow ear canals, and they also kind of have a bend in them. I used to go into my doctor's office at least 1-2 times annually to have my ears cleaned out. I was shown by a nurse after many years how to irrigate my own ears, and I recommend using Debrox for at least 1-2 days before using a home irrigation kit for your ears. Debrox will soften and move wax, if it doesn't move out, it will cause slight hearing issues. I cannot, however, irrigate my ears after each use because it does make me dizzy and off balance during the process, so I will do the Debrox over my days off at least 2 nights and then irrigate. I always get large chunks of wax out of my ears, even when doing this process every 2-3 months. It would work better if I did it monthly, and I would likely only need to do Debrox 24 hours before irrigation, but I also try to let my ears work things out naturally. It's worth it, especially when using with a home irrigation system for ears."

Carbamide peroxide otic for Ear Wax Impaction "Had negative experiences with it years ago and again last week. Applied it as per instructions, made the situation even worse - not only did it not dislodge any wax, it gave me vertigo. Had to take Meclizine for two days until things got better. Have since resorted to peroxide with more positive results. In all fairness to the product, it could be that it works perfectly for others, but it just hasn't been my experience."
