For Cough and Nasal Congestion "I thought I had the flu. Long story short, too late to treat, so I was sent home with cough meds. I was offered codeine, but that stuff never worked for me, so I asked if there was anything else. I had mentioned that I had allergies as well, so he gave me this. I felt so much better within an hour of the first dose. No drowsiness for me, but I don't get drowsy with Benadryl either, so I wasn't expecting it."

For Cough and Nasal Congestion "My daughter was recently prescribed this medication for her cough and nasal congestion that wasn’t clearing up for two weeks. This has started to significantly improve her symptoms to where she’s not sneezing and having a lot of mucus in her nasal passages. The only downfall to it is the flavor along with the drowsiness. It makes her so sleepy and groggy and a little slower than usual with her speech and actions. But overall, the benefits have outweighed that and have proven to be what she needed to get better, as she was diagnosed with a bad case of allergies and a possible viral infection that accompanied her allergy symptoms."

For Cough and Nasal Congestion "I had a bad cold for a couple of days. I also thought I was maybe experiencing rebound congestion from a nasal spray I use way too often. Went to work today and my body said NOPE. I was shaky and weak. Just felt really off. I went straight to urgent care, and they called me in Bromfed DM to relieve symptoms of a respiratory viral infection. I took a half dose (5 ml instead of 10 ml) to see how it would make me feel before the evening. I could feel my sinuses starting to decongest after about 30 min. At 2 hours in, I can actually breathe through my nose quite a bit. Less coughing and ear pain/congestion gone. I will be taking a full dose for bedtime. Only side effect so far is a bit of drowsiness and dry eye about 1 hour in. However, I did not sleep well last night. It’s VERY possible the dry eye is just giving me that “tired eyes” feeling. Some dry mouth at 5 hours in, but nothing too bad."
