"I’ve only been taking Bimzelx for a month now for my HS, and I already see a big difference in the size and number of boils. I have severe HS, and under one armpit, I have six boils and three under my other armpit. After taking the injections twice for one month, all the boils have gotten smaller, and a few have begun to close up. It’s still a little painful, but I can already feel a difference, and I’m so happy that I’ve finally been able to take a medication that really does help. The injection is not painful, I think injecting it in different parts of my stomach helps with that. After each injection, the following day, I feel the difference and can tell it’s getting better. After living with HS for almost 25 years, I can’t express how truly thankful I am to see the results and slowly but surely get the treatment I’ve been praying for. I just want to be pain-free and able to have a range of motion in my arms without cringing from having boils there all the time. Bimzelx works!"

"It seems to be at least as effective as Humira, but unlike Humira, the injections are painful. All aspects of the injection are painful. The stick hurts, as well as the long injection of the liquid. With Humira, I didn't feel a thing, but with Bimzelx, it's torture every 2 weeks."

"While Bimzelx worked well for Faith's boils and outbreaks, the side effects for her were not good. She developed severe thrush in her mouth and down her throat. In her private area, an overabundance of yeast. Faith developed disturbing personality changes with mood outbursts of anger and even tried to jump out of the car. I took her to her primary doctor, and she was treated for thrush for 14 days. At this time, I had already taken her off Bimzelx for four weeks. It's now been 5 weeks, and all the side effects have subsided. I will not be putting her back on this medication. Humira had even more side effects for her. It crashed her immune system. She had to be seen by an oncologist for over a year. We are using a new topical ointment, and it's really working when she has signs of an outbreak. It's called Opzelura. Unfortunately, because it's new, her insurance will not cover it. We will keep fighting to get it covered. It's $2,500.00 a tube."
