For Asthma "I am in the UK and have eosinophilic asthma. After suffering for about 18 months and trying multiple drugs without success, I was diagnosed and started taking benralizumab (Fasenra) 4 months ago. Benralizumab provided instant relief within 24 hours. On the first night after the injection, I slept through the night for the first time in two years without waking up coughing and wheezing. Within 4 days, I was able to run 5 km. The side effects were minor, including a brief rash after the first injection and feeling a bit tired for a few days after each injection. However, the relief I feel from being able to breathe normally makes the tiredness tolerable. I no longer cough nonstop and have no mucus. I can now live a normal life again. I used to have prednisone bursts about every 6-8 weeks, but I have not needed prednisone since starting benralizumab. I recently caught a cold, but it did not affect my asthma, which is a first for me. I highly recommend this drug to those with eosinophilic asthma."

For Asthma "Been on Fasenra for a little over a year for chronic sinusitis. Had 3 surgeries and tried EVERYTHING. Had constant polyps and infections, up to 12+ a year. Took tons of antibiotics and was on daily oral steroids at one point. I have not had a single sinus infection in 14 months! Off the steroids for 9 months! That's unheard of (I had my first surgery when I was 9 years old... this has been a horrible problem my whole life). So far, the only side effect is tiredness on the day of the shot."

For Asthma "I had my injection of Fasenra on the 24th of March. After suffering for four years, with very high eosinophils, I was wheezing almost all the time and was on prednisone every week or so. I am feeling at least 70% better, not taking any steroids, took my Ventolin and Symbicort only 3 times since the injection. My wheezing is cured by 80-90%. I was lethargic on the first day of my injection and am feeling constipated for the last week or so, don't know if it is the side effect of Fasenra. Overall, I hope that I would be completely normal within a month or two."

For Asthma "I started Fasenra almost 12 months ago in December 2020. Before that, I had several ER visits and was hospitalized all in three months and was wheezing for one full year nonstop every single day. Was unable to breathe or climb a stair or walk a few steps. I was on ten medications including steroids and a nebulizer, and after Fasenra, the wheezing is gone. But what is bothering me is the excessive sweating and heavy head/lethargy or excessive fatigue. I can get out of bed for only 6 hours per 24 hours. The rest of the time I feel lethargic/heavy head. So I’m totally confused. When I remember the wheezing, Fasenra is a blessing, but when I think of the condition I’m in, I have no way of finding if it’s a side effect of Fasenra or the AstraZeneca corona vaccine or what. Will need more time to figure things out. But I do recommend Fasenra for nonstop wheezing. I wish others could comment on their fatigue and energy levels."

For Asthma "I have been taking Fasenra for a year and a half. I suffered from terrible asthma, having multiple attacks a day and through the night, was always wheezing, and was constantly on prednisone. The first dose of Fasenra made me tired and achy. I had hives on the bottom of my feet for a week or two after every shot for the first 6 to 8 months, but I decided to continue. They went away and I haven’t had an asthma attack since the first week after the first shot. Stopped taking steroids and Singulair. I highly recommend it."

For Asthma "I feel tired after the Fasenra injection, and I have all-over body aches. Also, nasal congestion and headache. Sometimes short of breath, too."

For Asthma "I have suffered from asthma and severe nasal polyps for years. After 3 sinus surgeries, years of carrying inhalers, large amounts of prednisone, constantly being sick with every cold that was going around, I have been healthy for about 16 months on Fasenra. My polyps are virtually gone. I don’t carry inhalers, and I’m off the prednisone (I’ve lost 30 lbs), and I haven’t even had what could resemble a cold. My side effects include the day of my shot I feel a little tired, and my skin has been very itchy."
