"Took 2, then 4-5 hours later my tongue and lip swollen as a result of further investigations. Combined with turmeric curcumin supplementation, several coffees, and some dried fruit, I had raised my salicylate levels beyond my tolerance, causing anaphylaxis and a visit to the emergency room."

"I love Alka-Seltzer. It helps with my heartburn, my headaches, and my body pain. I have found no faster relief for heartburn, and the fact that it also helps with pain is a real boon!"

"I have taken Alka-Seltzer Original for as long as I can remember (I am now 78). It has always been effective at addressing nausea, indigestion, and heartburn. The fizz is a critical element for me, and as far as I know, the only medicine that has that feature. I have been taking Eliquis for 8 years and should not take NSAIDs, but I have not had a negative reaction to Alka-Seltzer. I take no other NSAIDs and only take one tablet when I have to. I am so disappointed that Alka-Seltzer Gold was removed. It was so much safer, I assume, for me. I cannot imagine not still having Alka-Seltzer Original, and my cardiologist understands."
