What is a safe antacid to take with Plavix? This is for occassional use?

According to the PDR you should be able to take most any antacid with Plavix. I would try to separate them a little though so the antacid doesn't slow down the action from the Plavix. Hope this helps
You can safely take Mylanta or Gaviscon (perhaps separate the doses by 2 hours) and H2 antagonists (famotidine, ranitidine, etc.), with Plavix
