Am taking 100mg sertraline every day. Was to stop anxiety etc but removed myself from job which was main cause and now (4 weeks later) after feeling amazing am constantly tired. Do you think it's time to reduce my dose now my anxiety has decreased?
I think my sertraline may be too high??

Sarah, Sertraline 100mg is a very mid line dosage. It can go much higher, and much lower. I don't think it's causing your fatigue. It is an antidepressant, not an anti-anxiety drug. But if you're feeling better, it could be because of the Sertraline! You don't want to just stop taking it, you need to taper off, with your doctor's assistance. Give him/her a visit and see what he/she thinks. Your fatigue could be from many issues. Hope that helps.
Thank you. I spoke to my dr on Friday and be said not to reduce and just ride it out. I got it for post natal 2 years ago and think have recovered from that then was being bullied in work by my boss and had a terrible time. However have handed my notice in and start a new job on Tuesday. As soon as I handed notice in I felt amazing then a couple of weeks later was hit by massive fatigue. Anyway dr has suggested I ride it out and go see him in two weeks. Thanks for reply xxx
Hi Sarah-
Best to talk to your doctor about your constant fatigue and about reducing your dose.
I hope you find what works for you :)
