Trulicity - How do I stop the side effects of Trulicity? My doctor put me on 1.25mg once a week.

My doge had knee surgery to repair torn ACL and was prescribed tramadol 50 mg every 8-12 hr, when I asked if this dose is not too high for 20 lb dog he said that it isn’t. What do you think? Thanks
