I saw several posts indicating some were cutting 15 mg mirtazapine pills down to 1/8ths. How is this being done? I have tried this but seem to get irregular portions. Aprreciate any tips you may have learned .

Hi, holmesge!
Ask your doctor for a script for 7.5mg tabs which would only need to be cut into quarters (if my math is right).
Hopefully your doctor has advised and approved of you adjusting your dosage.
You can get 7.5 mg mirtazapine pills and use a pill splitter (available at any pharmacy) and cut the tablet into quarters. So in effect you have a 4 x 1.875 dose. You can't cut the pill any more since it starts to become powder. If you want to go lower than 1.875 you'll have to consider crushing the tablets and using a liquid suspension.
