Does lithium cause increase in appetite?

I started lithium a week in a half ago. I see a positive effect. I feel more hungry than usual. I’m not overeating but just seems after meals I’m not completely full.

I would like to ask a question about the relation between Synthroid dose, and lithium dose.

How can I distinguish hyperthyroidism from hypomania? I can no longer tolerate lithium and at 0 level, with Synthroid still taken at 0.112, I get excessive hyperactivity, energy, hunger, tremors, and anxiety. I’m only taking 5 mg, and taking with Trintellix and topamax. I don’t eat much during the day no appetite, then at night I do get pretty hungry I notice. But still, my weight is good. Any thoughts?
