Citalopram - I’ve been on antidepressants for 20+ years for anxiety and depression.

I have tried various drugs and doses I am currently on 30mg of citalopram but still get quite anxious and depressed at times.Should I go up to 40mg or try something different? Thank you.

Side effects and heightened anxiety-citalopram?

Can you get side effects and heightened anxiety after 3 months of taking citalopram? If so, does that mean my body is telling me I need to up my dose?
