I have been taking mirtazapine for 12 weeks for MDD and the depression is improving. Anxiety has been a bigger issue. clonazepam (PRN) is what use for when my anxiety is severe. I find that some days I only need .125mg and other days I’ve been up to .5mg. Most of the time I’m between 0.25 and 0.370mg. I know this is not a high dosage, but wonder why the inconsistency with anxiety. I haven’t gone a day yet without some clonazepam since January 24, 2021. Is titrating in order? I don’t want to take it if I don’t feel the need.
Clonazepam - Is it typical to need more clonazepam on some days than others?

I took Clonazepam for over 15 years. I was prescribed 1 mg twice daily. I would take as needed and yes, I needed more some days than others. Although I still suffer from acute anxiety, I have quit taking it because it causes memory problems. Be careful.
You said it's PRN. It's also a very low dose. Of course you want to not take them if possible but if your anxiety is too high to handle, take it.
Better, ask you Dr.
Mine would say take it.
Every day is different. We can't control when anxiety hits and when it doesn't.
You take so little, if you just stopped I doubt you'd have withdrawals.
It's also been a very tough year for everyone and especially for those of us who are highly sensitive. You said you don't want to take it if you don't need it. Stick with that belief but go easy on yourself.
