The original way to combat anxiety, deoression, headaches or insomnia is with adequate nutrients to build needed neurotransmitters and hormones. Daily supplementation with B-complex (all eight essential Bs because they work
Together), magnesium, and multiple forms of calcium (calcium carbonate is the cheapest form but not well absorbed) could offer more relief and enable drugs to be more effective with less side effects.
I was already taking buspirone which was about 80% effective and then we added Seroquel and not only am I sleeping better but it's helping control my anxiety disorders. Seroquel is also faster acting than the antidepressant/anxiolytics which can take as long as 3 months to become fully effective in some cases.
Fortunately for me I've had no weight gain with it.
Have you tried it yet? I know you've tried several medications already.
Seroquel helped my anxiety and insomnia but I have grown a tolerance to it. However, my husband has been on Seroquel for years and it still helps him. It does have the side effect of weight gain but it is worth it.
