How long after stopping amlodipine will I start to feel back to normal?

I am suffering from severe migraines and am trying to figure out why - because me and my neurologist are stumped. While reading up on side effects it says it could be a build up of Lamictal in the blood stream but I wanted to ask here, before bringing up to neurologist in early May.
