I am an RN and cant seem to find out the answer for pt. having a urine test, only a blood test which looks to be about 24 days or so. please help ASAP
unless the person doing the drug test is specifically looking for bupe then nothing will show up in the test.
They must specifically do a test for Buprenorphine.
I hope this helps,
Ok, suboxone does test positive for a long time compared to most meds. It does have to be metabolized out. Sorry, didn't see this question at first, I work and just didn't see the post. You will test negative for suboxone somewhere between 11 and 24 days after your last dose, this is according to Reckitt-Benckiser the manufacturer. You are on a smaller dose than many, but you still could pop positive for quite a while after your last dose. There isn't enough info in your post to give you a better guess. If you start walking or doing some type of exercise, this will help you test negative sooner.
Did you have urine test done.
