My doctor has just prescribed gabapentin to me and it's in a very low dose (100mg, 3x/day). I'm a little skeptical about starting this medication because I don't know much about it except for what 1 friend is saying about it. I wanted to know if anyone can share with me their experiences and opinions of this medication? Thank you in advance!
Is gabapentin safe to take?

Thank you.
Basically they’ve got no idea. If you take it long enough you build a tolerance, it’s been shown to be somewhat addictive and has a whole host of side effects. At the same time it’s basically the silver bullet for anxiety and nerve pain, so there aren’t many great alternatives.
