I've had very good experience controlling my blabber pain using a tens unit. I mean - day and night difference. It almost immediately alleviated my pain. I don't use constantly, though. It kind of numbs the whole area, for me at least, and i can go without it for a couple hours. If I'm up and standing and walking i wear the tens unit. I was amazed with the results. It might help someone else, i hope it does, no one should have this pain constantly.

HI! Yes, I took this medication back in the Summer for nerve pain. It really helped me, but I had hard core pain. It causes drowziness, which is one of the side effects. I was able to sleep with it, which is something I couldn't do before I took it. I've been and still am healing from two herniated discs and a pinched nerve, so with that in mind, I was given the medication to ease the pain. I was on it for two months and then with my second steroid shot {which barely helped} it did change my symptoms to where I didn't need to be on the Gabapentin anymore. I know you have to wean yourself off, but in my case, my symptoms were so different, that I was able to quit taking it without issue. It's the worst drug on the market, but it helped me. There's also Lyrica, which is very expensive with insurance{and I wasn't going to pay high dollar}..it really just depends on your symptoms and what your doctor suggests. I hope this helps!
