As Alpha said, everyone is different but in my case this combination had me on the floor on my second beer. Never again!!

I have never had any issues mixing Buspirone and alcohol. That being said, I’m a light drinker. I take 45mgs times daily. I drink beer and wine on weekends, occasionally I drink more. If anything I suspect a possible side effect of mixing the two would be tiredness, but it’s never been an issue for me. We are all different, but I hope this helps. Good luck to you.

Thanks, I'm on 20 mg Fluoxetine and been on it for 5 yrs now and I can have a drink whenever. My sister recently passed away and my anxiety has been crazy. My doctor added 15 mg Buspirone and I only take 5 mg at a time. Just was checking bx the holidays are here and I would like to have a drink or 2 with my family.
