I apply antifungal cream and powder daily also triple antibiotic when the blisters pop but nothing seems to give. When they pop the blisters fill up with more fluid and then more blisters appear. One blister popped and as I lifted up the skin to see inside it was like a deep cutt. I cant afford to go to the doctors to go for lab tests, I cant take this issue happening for Im affraid it could spread let alone give it to my children or spouse. I need help and advice of what to use and or do.

I think that I have answered you before about this, but this sounds like a condition called Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). My son has this condition and it is a hereditary condition! He get's the same blisters that you are talking about on the bottom of his feet and between his toes. They usually happen during warm weather and if he is on his feet for long periods of time or if his feet get over heated. IT IS NOT AN INFECTION AND YOU CAN NOT SPREAD IT BECAUSE IT IS NOT CONTAGEOUS SO PLEASE DONT LISTEN TO ANYONE WHO TRIES TO TELL YOU THAT IT IS AN INFECTION!! I have dealt with this with my son since he started walking and he is now 21.
His biological dad, half brother on his dad's side, grandmother, aunt and great aunt on his dads side all have it too!! I know that you can't afford to go to a doctor, but do what you can to go to a dermatologist that is how I was able to get my son and the rest of his family diagnosed!! His family just lived with the blisters for many years because most doctors have no idea what it is because it is a rare condition. I knew that my ex-husband and members of his family had these blisters and they had no idea what caused them so when my son started getting them when he was a baby I decided to find out what it was. I took him to a dermatologist, (after many, many, many, other specialists!!! ) and he knew exactly what it was as soon as he looked at it!! My son was actually in an EB study at the University of Maryland where his doctor is so that they could find a way to treat and maybe someday cure EB. As of now, it is a chronic condition with no cure. But there are medications that can help treat the symptoms. YOu and my son are actually lucky because the blisters on the feet are the mild form of the disorder... it has many different ranges and the most severe can cause death!! When I took my son to the study at the University of MD I say kids there who had the blisters all over their bodies and they usually don't live to see adulthood and if they do, they are severely deformed because of the scars. The good thing is that if this is what you have, you do have the least severe form like my son and it won't change, you will always get the blisters on your feet and you may even get them on your hands from time to time, but you will never get the fatal form of the disease! But PLEASE do what you can to get to a dermatologist and look up the information on EB and print it out and take it to the doctor with you just in case they have never heard of it . I wish you luck and please contact me if you have any questions about this. Like I said, I have been dealing with this condition with my son for 21 years!
prevention is THE best cure. i have responded to this before and will do so again! try BODYGLIDE. product was developed for marathon runners and does help in preventing blisters due to EBS. it reduces friction which causes heat thereby producing blisters. this is worth a try!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE try it!!! I am now 45 and work outside in the heat and while I do get blisters it typically is in 85 degree weather or hotter. I wear mesh style running shoes purchased from a sporting goods store. And socks I bought from Wal-Mart that wick away moisture and heat. These combined have helped me greatly. please consider this option and give BODYGLIDE a try. Dicks sporting goods carries bodyglide and they have a website bodyglide.com.
I'm a 71 year old woman, active and still working. Every spring around mid-May I would get several itchy "blisters" beneath my right arch and along the outside of my foot that swell, break, ooze, then dry and peel off. Never on my left foot. Sometimes I would get numerous, smaller blisters on each hand, especially my fingers, which would react the same. Because my hands were in water so much, my fingers would get very red and raw appearing. As I've gotten older, this situation occurs earlier each year; this year it was late March. But each time, it only lasts a few weeks. Anyway, one time I told my (late) father about it and he said, "The old people in the family used to call this 'tetter.'" Afterwards I went to a well-respected dermatologist to find out the cause, although compared to your son, happybrandee, my condition is very, very minor (thankfully).
The dermatologist apparently didn't know what caused it other than to say, "It's probably stress." He'd never heard the term "tetter," btw. Odd that this stress always occurred in mid-May each year! One day I heard about "Blue Diamond" ointment on a television commercial and it listed conditions that it was good for... "tetter" being one of them! Now when I have an outbreak, I wash the area carefully, dry, and apply Blue Diamond ointment; it clears up a lot faster and keeps it from getting infected as it would sometimes. Just wanted to pass this on to those like me who seem to have this hereditary condition in its minor form. This is the first time I've ever heard of anyone else experiencing this except for a former sister-in-law who suffered from it beneath both her feet. Her granddaughter inherited it even worse on her feet, becoming debilitating for the child to participate in summer camp or like activities.. Neither her brother (my ex husband), nor their other two siblings received the gene(s) though.
happybrandee, I have had the blisters for almost 3 months now and I cant stand it. I am 61 and have never had anything like this. No family history of it ether. I will be going to a good dermatologist in about 4 days. Your calling it Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), I have not heard of this until reading this Q n A form. I thought I had it nailed down as real sever Dyshidrotic Eczema. I think EB is closer to what I have. I keep reading how rare this condition is yet I am seeing that many people also have these symptoms. My symptoms seam to have started after buying a pair of low end shoes from WSS. I am wondering if all the crap we get from China could maybe be one of the things that set this off. Like I said no family history and I have never been allergic to anything. cant wait until I can walk normal again!
i keep getting these blisters on the bottom of both of my feet for a year now. it gets real itchy even before the blisters start coming out. The start out small and get bigger and bigger. So very painful. It was attributed at first from me being on my feet all the time and then my feet starting to swell. I don`t wanna keep going through this and just do not know what to do.
See happybrandee's answer, it sounds like you have the same thing, Epidermolysis Bullosa Simplex
I started getting itchy feet about 2 months ago and then two blisters formed under my pinky toe on my right foot. They were hard itchy bumps. Almost looked like a planter wart. I stabbed it with a needle and some thick clear fluid came out. It cleared up for a week and then I got one on my finger. I drained it immediately, but it kept filling back up. Now it looks like a burn or a blood blister, but then I had 2 more pop up under my right pinky toe again. It itches line crazy. What I'm gathering is that this is a permanent problem? My girl thinks it's athletes foot. Thick clear liquid that keeps filling back up. It seems to be under several layers of skin. I'm tired of itchy feet. Think Obama care will cover it?
I'm not a medical professional, but I suffer dishidrosis eczema. It is small itchy blister/s just under the surface of my right foot that when broken seep serum. When the broken blister dries initially it looks like a small blood blister, but then the affected area eventually becomes flaky. This is not communicable, or contagious, just very irritating. I use a topical cream that contains Miconazole nitrate 2% w/w and hydrocortisone 1% w/w and after a week of regular twice daily application the attack settles.
I have had this most of my life and I am 63. At first I have small itchy bumps or knot right under the skin on the bottom of my foot. These bumps/knots itch outrageously and eventually break open like a blister with fluid and the skin can be pulled off. It went away when I took a prescription for toenail fungus. Dr said bumps/knots were from the same family as the toenail fungus. I have started using a vapor rub (such as Vick's) on the sole of my foot and on the big toe nail and under the big toe nail and it seems to be helping the toenail fungus. Is the Miconazole nitrate 2% w/w and hydrocortisone 1% w/w available over the counter.
I also get tiny blisters the bottom of my feet. OMG itchy!! However , I get them when I am low on potassium. I take potassium pills now. Be careful though cause to much is not good either.
Thank you i have suffered with this from childhood. It only comes in summer when i'm wearing tennis shoes and socks. Man does it itch and my experience that when blisters burst it creates more, making my foot look awful for wearing sandals. It also only occurs on one foot or the other not both together. Thank you again for the chance to resolve this problem during summer. Also i tried frankencense essential oil to stop itching and seemed to give some relief.
I have been suffering with this exact same thing for about 8 years and you explained it perfectly. The peeling is horrible and the blisters itch so bad!! I am going to try this method. Thanks for sharing.
I get these annoying blisters I also get inside thigh leg cramps. Excruciating!!!
I take potassium and everything goes away!!
Simple!!
You just described my foot so bad. Can you share the actual name of the cream you use? And for the vicks rub should I do that after the popped blisters heal as a preventative? Please help and thank you in advance.
This happens to me too! But I have noticed its only when I wear certain shoes. Try wearing. A different pair of shoes for a week or so and see if they STOP forming!
Yep me too change your shoes
I have also noticed this only with one pair of shoes, and always with this one pair... why??
What i the name brand shoes, The blisters started when I ware this one pair. It maybe the shoes with some kind of something made in to them. Mine are earth shoes
One day I went to Walmart and bought some new boots for work, well I put them on and began my day... throughout the day a few coworkers noticed my new boots... everyone of them said "I hope you didn't get them at Walmart"... Maybe to my ill fate,I did... that same day after a full day in them... I've had blisters since... They warned me to take them boots off immmediatly... They were new I didn't... check this out!!! I am 52 yrs.old I am a heavy equipment operator with hazardous materials on my drivers license... I've worked with many different companies that deal with hazardous materials... I Hall haz-mats... I'm certified... This is what I do... This is most important!!! The containers used to haul hazmats, must be properly cleaned or destroyed, you can not haul poison in any qaunity with food or consumer products... But clothing or shoe's are OK... Walmart gets most of their stuff from overseas, remember I'm a driver...
the way big companies work is, if they have customer shipping freight from California to Florida and they agree on a five year contract at an agreed rate... Then the carrier will try to increase their profits by adding additional shipments to that what they call a " shipping Lane"... hear where I'm going... So then crap gets hauled together that shouldn't be or containers used to haul hazmat are not cleaned because what is hauled after hazmat is not considered a consumer product... so if theirs a lane hauling the same stuff over and over again, then when I go buy a pair of boots at Walmart I'm screwed... or the glues or materials in the boots or something is tied to Walmart... I've never bought boots at Walmart till then... A good lawyer needs to look into this...
it sounds like tinea pedis
you should see a doctor about this
I am pretty sure that I know what this is and it is not an infection. You should see a Qualified Dermatologist and be checked for a heriditary condition called Epidermolysis Bullosa Simplex, or EB for short. My son has this and it runs in his family and we had no idea what it was until I took him to a Dermatologist and he told us what it was. This is a rare condition that effects the underlying tissue under the skin. The way that the doctor explained it to us is that, my son is lacking a certain enzyme that connects the upper layers of skin on the soles of his feet to the underlying layers of tissue, because of this, fluid builds up and it causes painful blisters that can itch, and can contain a clear to yellowish fluid that is thick! The blisters come from the inside out unlike blisters that you get from say your shoes rubbing. There is no cure for EB but there are some treatments.
There are many forms of EB and actually this is the best one to have if you have EB. There are people who have this all over their bodies and that type is fatal.
I am not a doctor, or a medical professional , but like I said I have a son with this he has had it from birth, his father has it, his grandmother, his aunt, and some cousins and his half-brother also have it, all on his dad's side. So I know a lot about it as I have been dealing with it for over 20 years now. I am not saying that this is what you have, but it could be this, and you should go to a Dermatologist and be checked for it. If you want more information on EB you can go to a site called DEBRA.COM. They have been loads of help for my son and I and it may help you to get more information.
Honestly, I hope that I am wrong , and that you don't have EB because it is very painful, but if you do, I am here if you need any suggestions on how to relieve the pain. My son will be 19 in 6 days and has been dealing with it all his life.
Please let me know if this is what you have.
Take care, and good luck to you.
~~happybrandee~~
I was hoping you'd pick this up. I thought of your son right away.
i 2 have ebs. i am 43. my mother has it also but my 2 brothers do not. my son has inherited it from me. bothers me when he gets blisters. but he is otherwise a normal little boy. his older sister does not get blisters. the best thing is prevention. i use a product called BODYGLIDE. this is a product 4 runners, & athletes. go to BODYGLIDE.COM. some large sporting goods stores carry it in house. this product has helped me get through summertime @ work 4 10 years. Hope it will help others with EBS as well. i use it year round. it is not cheap but it is worth your consideration.

I have something like this my Dr said he thinks its excema but everything he gives me for it dose not work and i have had this since I was in middle school will that's when I remember it affecting me... And u am 25..
Finally someone knows what I am talking about. I have been to many dermatologists and I have got many diagnosis and many treatments with no successful results. It would be very kind of you to give me some information on how to treat and ease the EB pain. Thank you in advance for your precious advices
I have a similar problem my right foot inches on and off some times I get small blisters. It's been happening for many years comes and goes. Not so much painful as annoying just wish it would stop.
This could be something that isn't any kind of infection, but coming from your immune system. Its not real safe to mess around with things like this on your feet. Circulation could be a problem. I would keep it real clean, wear white socks all the time to contain drainage, and watch it for any signs of infection or spreading, since a doc would be a hardship. If you have any signs of infection or getting worse you are going to have to see a dr. also if you show signs of poor circulation, like fluid retention or change in color or temperature.
The other thought is your shoes. They could reinfect if it is an infection.
OMG thank u!!! I’ve had it for years and just dealt. My son is now showing. Thank you. It sucks, went to dr soooo many times! Thank u!!! Ours is not circulation it’s just a deal. Thank u!! This is disgusting but when we void the cloud the pain is way less. We use a sharp needle and peroxide. I know it’s narly but it helps us.
