Given Ativan is typically for short term use I recommend Zoloft (Sertraline). It is generally not considered addictive so much safer for daily long term use.
I've used Ativan and it is great, but symptoms always return. Zoloft I have been on for a few months now, and it is life changing. Talk to your Dr and give it a try, it works within a couple weeks.
Calm works great for me. Has gummies and powder. I also take Zoloft, gabapentin, and amitriptyline.
Gabapentin is another option. I think it’s pretty safe. It does calm you. Also disinhibiting.
