For Rheumatoid Arthritis "I have been prescribed 4 different arthritis medicines... Mobic being one of them. Took as directed and took for a minimum of 3 weeks. It didn't help me at all. Steroids seems to be the only thing that help. Had fluid removed from both knees within a week of each other, and then knee surgery (subchondroplasty) in February. I have found no surgery and no medicine has helped. Within a couple days of being off the steroids, both my knees will swell up and I have to use a walker or crutches to walk more than 2 feet."

For Osteoarthritis "First one that I have found working for the pain and the inflammation in my knees, elbows, shoulders, etc. I am 36 and I was tested about three weeks ago, but before I was tested, I was already taking Mobic and it worked better than all the other medicines that I was taking for my arthritis. When my test come back it showed that I was full blown with arthritis and borderline rheumatoid arthritis. "

For Rheumatoid Arthritis "I have been on mobic about 18 months. I didn’t think it was doing much till I ran out. Then I realised, mobic has reduced my pain and morning stiffness substantially. Very good and doesn’t bother my stomach. I take it after meals in the evening with my plaquenil. Also on plaquenil and prednisolone in the mornings. Trying to get away without using methotrexate"

For Fibromyalgia "It worked okay for my back pains, but during the time that I first started taking it I got a really bad sore throat and if it wasn%u2019t for Mobic, I would not have been able to get out of bed. My throat felt so bad that I could hardly talk or eat and drink, but after taking the Mobic, it took the pain away for about 3 to 4 hours before I had to take another. Therefore, if you have a bad sore throat or any inflammatory conditions try Mobic to see if it helps."

"It was prescribed off label because the doctor was unable to prescribe muscle relaxants for my pulled back muscle. It had no effect, not even a placebo effect. Advil at least has an effect, but they can’t be taken together."

For Inflammatory Conditions "I was in a car accident which injured my c4, c5, & c6. They are out of line & impinging on my spinal colum & main nerve to the left arm. It also affects my shoulder. I'm not sure I've reallly noticed any difference from using this drug. I'm not sure they can find anything that helps & doesn't sedate me so that I can't take care of my kids. Trying to find dosing information & so far no luck...."

For Osteoarthritis "This medicine does help a lot. I would say about 80% and when I came off 3 days later started hurting again and a month later was practically bedridden from pain. Yes, it works well!! I stopped taking it one time because of my severe GERD which I had before mobic but became worse with Mobic but now that I am on a PPI medication I don't have to worry about the GERD anymore. I just upped the antacids as needed. It is much better than suffering from severe pain. I am sensitive to medication but there is no side effects outside maybe some very minor drowsiness the first few days starting back taking the medicine. It has helped me. I have degenerative disks, compression in my spinal cord, suspected AS as well as arthritis in all my joints and they are testing me for autoimmune issues. You may not even realize how much it helps until you stop taking it. I knew it was helping me a lot but didn't realize how much. It's a good medication and works much better then prescription Naprosyn."

For Osteoarthritis "I've been taking Meloxicam 15 mg for six months and I haven't really noticed any reduction in pain. I have arthritis in my knees, hips, back, neck, and wrists. Today I took 500 mg of Tylenol at lunch to see if it helps. (I take the Meloxicam with supper.) I've also tried ice, lidocaine, and Mineral Ice on different occasions to try to stop the breakthrough pain. I'll be seeing my doctor next week and will ask why Meloxicam isn't working for me."

"I was prescribed this for broken patella knee surgery. I took mobic 15mg once a day for 1 month, the 1st 2 weeks it worked great... then it felt like my knee was broken all over again, sharp pain so bad I couldn't even stand up. I thought I was having complications with the screws and wires. I ended up in the ER with terrible joint pain, they looked at me like I was nuts. Saw my orthopaedic team the next day and they said it was in my head even though the protein levels in my blood were through the roof due to pain and swelling. I took it into my own hands to stop the mobic and 2 days later, with the help of tylenol and ibuprofen I was fine. I would never recommend this medication. I fell behind on my physical therapy, my knee mobility regressed from all the pain."

For Osteoarthritis "I have severe Osteoarthritis in right shoulder from a motocross injury. Had a partial shoulder replacement 2 years ago and been in tons of pain since and not being able to move my arm. Nothing else has touched the pain like Mobic does just taking 7.5 only when the pain comes on. I am thankful it works because my options are not good for getting pain relief. It’s been over a year before figuring out what will take the pain away . Just a FYI surgery is not always the way to go it can leave you worse than you where with a lot more pain that is hard to treat."

For Osteoarthritis "I have a pinched nerve C6-C7. Pain from neck to hand. All NSAIDS help, but Meloxicam 15mg once per day was amazing after taking for a week. No pain. 6 months later I got COVID and (maybe a pure coincidence) it stopped working."
