Mobic (meloxicam) for Fibromyalgia: I have been on Mobic since 2000. I have asked about new medications (which we now have 2 new came out in 2009) but the side effects is a real concern for me. I have not had a good experience with Mobic. It does get me through the day but my pain increases every month. I am at the point now that it is really affecting my personal life with my husband and he really does not understand the extent of the pain. I need a drug without harmful side effects. I want to protect my liver as much as possible. Please come up with a drug for fibromyalgia. I would hate to know that I have to live on pain pills the rest of my life.

Mobic (meloxicam) for Osteoarthritis: I used Mobic for 1 year with great results for knee pain and no side effects. Orthopedic surgeon would not continue prescription for fear of long-term effects. Knee pain returned within 5 days. Will consult with primary care doc for new prescription.

Mobic (meloxicam) : When I began taking Mobic (7.5 mg twice a day) for my sciatica and lower back pain I felt like I was 10 years younger. I experienced greater flexibility and generally felt good all over. However after a couple of months on this dosage I began to experience dizziness and shortness of breath. My doctor found that I was very anemic due to blood loss somewhere in my body to the point where I had to be hospitalized and received 2 units of blood. I had no history of ulcers or other internal bleeding. In addition to taking the maximum dosage of Mobic I was also taking a baby aspirin once a day. My advice is to take as small a dose as possible for as short a time as possible and NEVER use when taking aspirin.

Mobic (meloxicam) for Inflammatory Conditions: I have been taking Mobic (meloxicam) for 1 month. I had knee surgery in January 08 and could barely walk, the pain was so bad. After my Doctor started me on meloxicam I'm able to walk pretty much pain free. I tried to stop taking it and the pain returned within two day's. I love it - best thing I have taken.

Mobic (meloxicam) for Osteoarthritis: I was taking between 4-6 ibuprofen a day and still had a lot of osteoarthritis pain. Once the Mobic was prescribed I felt a significant decrease in pain and can say have a new lease on life. Side effects have been minimal.

Mobic (meloxicam) for Osteoarthritis: I have been using Mobic to relieve the pain from my Spinal Fusion I had in March/2001. I was previously on Bextra that was discontinued. I find this medication to work just as good as Bextra did.

Mobic (meloxicam) for Inflammatory Conditions: I began using this medication to reduce sciatic nerve inflammation. It worked great for 9 hours and then the pain was back. Not strong enough for my needs, but again worked well for the first 9 hours.

Mobic (meloxicam) for Fibromyalgia: It worked okay for my back pains, but during the time that I first started taking it I got a really bad sore throat and if it wasn%u2019t for Mobic, I would not have been able to get out of bed. My throat felt so bad that I could hardly talk or eat and drink, but after taking the Mobic, it took the pain away for about 3 to 4 hours before I had to take another. Therefore, if you have a bad sore throat or any inflammatory conditions try Mobic to see if it helps.

Mobic (meloxicam) for Rheumatoid Arthritis: Mobic has been a good drug for all the basic inconveniences of arthritis. I was this close to going in for a knee replacement when my Geriatric Specialist offered Mobic. I take Pepcid with it as it is very hard on the stomach, but it has increased my mobility and reduced the pain by 90%. I am very pleased with this drug. Hooray!

Mobic (meloxicam) for Inflammatory Conditions: In use for 6 weeks with noticeable reduction in muscle soreness and overall general body stiffness. Suffered for years with stiffness, soreness, lack of flexibility, and difficulty getting down on a floor to work and very hard to get up. Weight doesn't help, but Mobic has relieved much of the apparent inflammation of muscles and joints. So far after 6 weeks I have no noticeable side effects.

Mobic (meloxicam) for Fibromyalgia: I've had this condition since I was 12. It's now been 25 years. This is one of the better medications I've tried and the last one on the list to try. It seems to be helping with mobility.

Mobic (meloxicam) for Fibromyalgia: Mobic has made an incredible difference to my fibromyalgia. This time last year I could hardly walk and did not really care if I did not wake up next morning. I was tired of the never ending pain. Now I go for a walk 4 days per week and I can move so much better. I can sleep at night as well.

Mobic (meloxicam) for Inflammatory Conditions: I used this medication for about a year for bursitis in my left shoulder. When taken regularly it did help reduce my pain quite a bit. I could definitely tell when I did not take it every day. The pain would return pretty bad. I did not want to take cortisone shots so this worked well for me.

Mobic (meloxicam) for Osteoarthritis: Suffering from severe pain in shoulder, elbow, and base of right thumb. The pain was constant. My doctor tried several medicines and NSAIDs to no effect. Yesterday he prescribed Mobic and by yesterday evening I was essentially pain free. This morning I am totally pain free, with a new attitude on life.

Mobic (meloxicam) for Inflammatory Conditions: I have been taking Mobic (meloxicam) for about nine months. When I stay on the drug I have little or no back pain. If I stop for even two days the pain comes back. But once I start again the pain is gone in one or two days. It has helped me tremendously.

Mobic (meloxicam) for Osteoarthritis: I have had a knee problem for almost a year now - going through regular fluid build up. Went through drainage, cortisone shots, then synvisc - knee keeps swelling. Finally they did MRI and ordered orthoscopic surgery. The doctor who will be doing the surgery put me on Mobic to reduce swelling and the knee has felt the best it has felt in almost a year. Ironic - this is two weeks before surgery. I have been on other anti-inflammatories before and this one worked.

Mobic (meloxicam) for Tendonitis: I've been having some knee pain for the past 6 months. I stand all day at work, 9 hours a day, 6 days per week. PT helped some but the pain always comes back. My family DR. gave me Mobic and a steroid shot. I'm pain free for over a week now. I'm very happy so far. No side effects at all. I thought I was allergic to NSAID's but this is giving me no issues at all. Hopefully it will continue to work well for me.

Mobic (meloxicam) for Osteoarthritis: I have been using Mobic every other day for a week now, and my pain is almost diminished. My fingers don't hurt as bad, and I can make a full fist without hurting. The pain in my upper legs is gone, and I can move once again like I am 30. I am 63! The side effects worry me some, so that is why I do not take it every day.

Mobic (meloxicam) for Fibromyalgia: This is amazing. I have suffered constant and varying levels of pain for over half my life (20 years). I have just started taking Mobic a week ago and am basically pain free. I can exercise for much longer periods with more intensity and do not suffer any pain.

Mobic (meloxicam) for : I have been having severe hip pain for over 9 months now. Did physical therapy, no change. Taken Motrin, naprosyn, ice - nothing relieved the pain. Couldn't even stand, sleep or get out of my car without pain and I'm only 32. I've been taking Mobic for 1 day and already feel 95 percent better.

Mobic (meloxicam) for : I have a severe case of tennis elbow, so I tried acetaminophen, naprosyn, ibuprofen and none of them provided any relief. Then my orthopedist prescribed Mobic....it's done wonders!! I'm 42 years old, 5'7", and 180 pounds, and he prescribed 7.5mg. The pain is almost entirely gone after only three days of taking the drug. Taking Mobic has allowed me to sleep at night!
