Directions For Use
It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
Resistance-management Recommendations. For resistance management, ZetaGard LBT Insecticide contains a Group 3A/Zeta-cypermethrin insecticide. Any insect population may contain individuals naturally resistant to ZetaGard LBT Insecticide and other Group 3A insecticides. The resistant individuals may dominate the insect population if this group of insecticides are used repeatedly in the same herds. Appropriate resistance management strategies should be followed. Monitor after application for unexpected target pest survival. If the level of survival suggests the presence of resistance, consult with your local university specialist or certified pest control advisor. For further information or to report suspected resistance, contact Y-TEX at 888-600-YTEX (9839) or at www.y-tex.com.
Chicken Broiler Houses and Turkey Growout Houses:
There is a maximum use rate of 50 pounds of product that can be applied in “broiler” and turkey growout houses per flock of bird. The application can be split into two 25 pound applications, or one single 50 pound application, per flock. These applications can occur as one application at the 50 lb. rate prior to the flock being placed in the broiler house, or as one application at the 25 lb. rate prior to the flock being placed in the broiler house and a second 25 lb. application occurring not later than three weeks prior to shipping the birds for slaughter. If one single application is made at the maximum rate of 50 lbs., slaughter cannot occur sooner than six weeks after application.
Before birds are placed in the house, raise the feeders and waters and apply four 14 to 36 inch bands of ZetaGard LBT Insecticide using a 14 to 36 inch drop style dust/granular applicator. Apply at a rate of 6.25 lbs. per 500 linear feet per band. Apply bands under each of two feed lines and along each wall. For severe infestation apply up to 12.5 lbs. per 500 linear feet in one treatment. Do not exceed 50 lbs. per 20,000 sq. ft. (standard 40 x 500 ft. broiler house) per flock.
