Ster-Bac Indications
As an aid in the sanitary prepping of dairy cows’ udders and teats prior to milking. Used regularly in a program of udder hygiene, this antiseptic udder wash helps prevent and control mastitis in dairy cattle by reducing the bacterial population on teats and udder.
Directions For Use
Prior to milking, dilute 2 mL Ster-Bac in 1 liter of warm water (provides 200 ppm quaternary ammonium). Wash the teats and udder with a paper towel soaked in this solution. After gentle washing and massage of the udder, press the excess solution from the towel and use the reverse side to dry the teats and udder. Discard used towel. Use a clean towel for each cow.
CAUTIONS:
Avoid contamination of udder wash by dirt and soil. Do not dip used towel back into solution. When solution becomes visibly dirty, discard and provide fresh solutions.
Storage
Store at or below 30°C. Do not freeze.
