Propylene Glycol, USP Indications

As an aid in the treatment of Acetonemia (Ketosis) of cattle.

Dosage and Administration

Administer orally in the drinking water, in the grain ration or as a drench.

Cattle:

MILD CASES: 120 mL morning and evening.

SEVERE CASES: 240 mL morning and evening. Repeat morning and evening for 4 days or as directed by your veterinarian.

Cautions:

Some cows may not respond to treatment as a result of complicating factors, such as milk fever, hardware disease, etc. These conditions must be treated in conjunction with the acetonemia. Consult your veterinarian if in doubt.

Storage

Store below 25°C. Keep from freezing.
