For Veterinary Use Only

DIN 02388618

Preodine Indications

For use in dairy cattle. Preodine reduces new udder infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus agalactiae when used as post-milking teat dip. Pre-milking dipping with Preodine, when used in conjunction with its application as a post-milking teat dip, reduces new udder infections caused by Streptococcus uberis.

Active Ingredients

Titratable Iodine - 0.5% (w/v)

Directions For Use

Use at full strength. Do not dilute. PRE-DIPPING: Before milking, dip each teat with Preodine. After 15 to 30 seconds, dry each teat thoroughly with a single-service towel. If the udder and teats are heavily soiled, wash with a sanitizing solution and dry before application of Preodine. POST-DIPPING: Immediately after milking, dip each teat with Preodine. Allow teats to air-dry. Do not wipe. A fresh solution should always be used at each milking. The teat dip cup should be emptied, cleaned and rinsed with potable water after each milking session or when solution becomes contaminated during milking. Do not pour remaining solution from dip cup back into original container.
