Pre-milking teat dip for reducing new udder quarter infections caused by Streptococcus uberis. Post milking teat dip for reducing new udder quarter infections caused by Staphylococcus aureus.
For use in dairy cattle.
Directions For Use
Oxy-Gard can be used a post-dip alone or as a pre-and post dip. Always use fresh, full strength Oxy-Gard. If product in dip cup becomes visibly dirty, discard contents, rinse cup and replenish with undiluted Oxy-Gard. Dip cups should be washed after each milking.
Pre-Milking: Wash and dry teats with a single service towel prior to dipping. Before each cow is milked, forestrip and check for clinical mastitis, then dip the teats as far up as possible. Leave Oxy-Gard teat dip on teats for at least 15-30 seconds. Wipe teat dry using a single service towel before milking.
Post-Milking: Immediately after milking dip teats at least 2/3 to all their length in Oxy-Gard teat dip.
Allow to air dry. DO NOT WIPE.
STORAGE: Avoid freezing. However, freezing will not affect the performance of this product, provided that the frozen contents are thawed completely and agitated thoroughly before use.
