Harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing. Avoid contamination of food. Wash hands with soap and water after use.

User Safety Recommendations

● User should wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet

● User should remove clothing/ PPE immediately if pesticide gets inside. Then wash thoroughly and put on clean clothing.

● User should remove PPE immediately after handling this product. As soon as possible, wash thoroughly and change into clean clothing.

ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS

This product is extremely toxic to fish and aquatic invertebrates. To protect the environment, do not allow pesticide to enter or run off into storm drains, drainage ditches, gutters or surface waters. Applying this product in calm weather when rain is not predicted for the next 24 hours will help to ensure that wind or rain does not blow or wash pesticide off the treatment area. Rinsing application equipment over the treated area will help avoid run off to water bodies or drainage systems.

This product is highly toxic to bees exposed to direct treatment on blooming crops or weeds. Do not apply this product or allow it to drift to blooming crops or weeds while bees are actively visiting the treatment area.

STORAGE AND DISPOSAL

Do not contaminate water, food or feed by storage or disposal.

Pesticide Storage and Spill Procedures: Store upright at room temperature. Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures. Store in a locked area out of reach of children and domestic animals. In case of spillage or leakages, soak up with an absorbent material such as sand, sawdust, earth, Fuller’s earth, etc.

Dispose of with chemical waste.

Pesticide Disposal: Pesticide wastes are acutely hazardous.

Improper disposal of excess pesticide, spilled bait, or rinsate is a violation of Federal Law. If these wastes cannot be disposed of by use according to label instructions, contact your State Pesticide or Environmental Control Agency, or the Hazardous Waste representative at the nearest EPA Regional Office for Guidance.

Container Disposal: If empty - Nonrefillable container. Do not reuse or refill this container.

Offer for recycling if available. If recycling is not available: then dispose of container in a sanitary landfill or, if allowed by State and local authorities, by burning. If burned, stay out of smoke.

If partly filled: Call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions. Unless otherwise instructed, place in trash. Never pour unused product down the drain or on the ground.

Directions For Use

It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.

Not for use on horses intended for human consumption. Cover feed and water prior to treatment.

Shake well before using. Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. Harmful if swallowed. Avoid contamination of food. To protect horses and ponies from Horse Flies, House Flies, Stable Flies, Face Flies, Horn Flies, Deer Flies, Gnats, Mosquitoes (Culex spp.): Thoroughly brush the horse’s coat prior to application to remove loose dirt and debris. For dirty horses, shampoo and rinse thoroughly. Wait until the coat is completely dry before applying this product. Opti Force® is sweat- and weather- resistant, so it keeps working when the horse sweats, and after rainfall.

Spray or Wipe Application: Application should be liberal for best results. For horse’s face, always apply as a wipe using a piece of clean, absorbent cloth, toweling (Turkish) or sponge. Avoid getting spray into horse’s eyes, nose or mouth. Wear rubber glove or mitt when applying as a wipe. Spray or wipe horse’s entire body while brushing against the lay of the coat to insure adequate coverage.

Reapply every 14 days for fly control normal conditions for initial applications. As protection builds, reapply every 14-17 days. Reapply every 5 to 7 days for mosquito repellency. Also, reapply each time animal is washed thoroughly, particularly if with shampoo or soap.
