Mycoplasma Gallisepticum Bacterin

This product has been shown to be effective for the vaccination of healthy chickens and turkeys 1 week of age or older against Mycoplasma gallisepticum infection. Directions For Use

Inject 0.5 mL subcutaneously (in the lower neck region) in birds 1 to 10 weeks of age using aseptic technique. Birds 10 weeks of age or older may be vaccinated intramuscularly or subcutaneously. Vaccinate only healthy birds prior to field exposure. The vaccination program should be completed prior to the point of lay. For optimum results, administer two 0.5-mL doses at least 4 weeks apart. Historically, revaccination with this product was recommended during molt before the second laying period. The need for booster vaccinations has not been established for this product; consultation with a veterinarian or the manufacturer is recommended.

Precautions

Store in the dark at 2°-8°C. Do not freeze. Warm to 22°-32°C and shake well before using. Use entire contents when first opened. Do not vaccinate within 42 days before slaughter. Do not vaccinate broilers or meat turkeys by the intramuscular route of administration. If birds are vaccinated during lay, a drop in egg production may occur. Contains penicillin and formaldehyde as preservatives. Do not mix with other products. In case of human exposure, contact a physician.
