RESPONSE/FIRST AID

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician.

IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water. Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician if you feel unwell.

IF INHALED: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician.

IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician.

STORAGE: Store locked up. Store in a closed container.

DISPOSAL: Dispose of contents/container to an approved waste disposal plant.

Directions For Use

Proper Concentration and consistency are important.

Concentration: Use in footbath at minimum 3% dilution rate (maximum 4%); approximately 5.8 to 10.2 fl oz (172 mL- 301 ml) HealMax^® per gallon (3.8L) of water. Maximum 6 cow passes per gallon of footbath solution. For example, in a 50 gallon footbath use 1.5 gallon HealMax^® FBC and 48.5 gallons water. Change footbath solution after maximum 300 cow passes.

Note: In some conditions a lower dilution rate of 2.0 - 3.0% will provide satisfactory results. Always consult your AgroChem Inc. representative for specific instructions and appropriate rates for using HealMax^® Footbath.

Frequency: Initial rate is 5-7 days consecutive for first week. Repeat for a second week. Monitor progress to determine if a third week is necessary. Maintenance rate is once per day for 3-5 days consecutive at 3% dilution. Always use on consecutive days (ex. Mon, Tue, Wed) and ensure proper concentration of at least 3% (2.25%) by volume.

Important: During freezing temperatures increasing concentration of HealMax^® FBC by 25% may be necessary. For instance if using 3% increase to 3.35%: 1.75 gallons HealMax^® FBC in 50 gallon footbath. Do not use in conjunction with formaldehyde, either in the footbath or separately.
