PRECAUTIONS:

This concentrated solution must be first diluted to a final concentration of 0.5% or less before using as a teat dip.

Hypersensitivity to the concentrate may occur. Use with caution. Udder and teats of cow should be thoroughly washed before milking. Precipitate may occur with certain types of water used for dilution. It is preferable to use distilled or deionized water. Avoid human ingestion and avoid contamination of animal feed. If contacted, thoroughly flush area with water.

STORAGE:

Store at controlled room temperature between 59 F to 86 F (15 C to 30 C)

MIXING AND APPLICATION:

To prepare 5 gallons, pour entire bottle contents into a clean, empty 5 gallon container that has been disinfected with 1% bleach solution and rinsed.

Rinse concentrate bottle with clean potable water and add rinse to 5 gallon container. Add additional potable water to 5 gallon container to make 5 gallons. Cap and shake well to mix.

Disinfect 5 gallon container with 1% bleach solution and rinse for each preparation. Do not return unused portion of solution from teat dipping cup to stock. Daily teat dipping should start 1 week before cow freshens. During lactation, dip each teat into 0.5% solution immediately after the cow is milked. When the cow is dried up, the teats should continue to be dipped in the 0.5% solution once a day for 3 to 4 days. Dip each teat so that the lower 1 inch of the teat has been covered.
