LOW FOAMING ACID CLEANER

A low foaming C.I.P. acid for the removal of calcium and mineral deposits from the processing equipment in the dairy, food processing, beverage, related industries and for agricultural and horticultural premises and equipment. FOAMCHEK® as excellent cleaning and rinsing properties.

Directions For Use

USE PROCEDURE: Prepare a hot or cold solution of FOAMCHEK® and circulate in the cleaning system. Recover the solution for reuse. Rinse with plenty of water.

CONCENTRATION: a concentration between 0.5% and 5% v/v (5 ml to 50 ml/L) is usually enough to obtain excellent results.

USE TEMPERATURE: may be used hot or cold however, it is recommended at a temperature between 60°C - 70°C (41°F - 158°F) when the acid cleaning precedes the alkaline cleaning.

DWELL TIME/OPERATION TIME: let circulate 5 to 25 minutes but time may be reduced in pipings where milk circulates cold, mainly in automatic systems.

FOOD PROCESSING PLANTS: Treated surfaces and utensils which may contact food products should be rinsed with (potable) drinking water.

INGREDIENTS: Phosphoric acid and nonionic detergents.

DO NOT STORE IN FOOD PROCESSING OR FOOD STORAGE AREAS.

Do not breathe dust/fume/gas/mist/vapors/spray.

Wash face, hands and any exposed skin thoroughly after handling.

Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.

Keep only in original packaging.

Precautionary Statements - Response

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician. IF ON SKIN (or hair): Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. IF INHALED: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician. IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician. Absorb spillage to prevent material damage.

Dispose of contents/container to an approved waste disposal plant according to local, provincial/federal regulations.
