STORAGE AND DISPOSAL
Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage or disposal.
PESTICIDE STORAGE: Store in a cool, dry place away from heat or open flame.
PESTICIDE DISPOSAL AND CONTAINER HANDLING: Do not puncture or incinerate! If empty: Place in trash or offer for recycling if available. If partly filled: Call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions.
USER SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS:
Users should: Wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet.
Remove clothing/PPE immediately if pesticide gets inside. Then wash thoroughly and put on clean clothing. Remove PPE immediately after handling this product. Wash the outside of gloves before removing. As soon as possible, wash thoroughly and change into clean clothing.
FIRST AID
If on Skin or Clothing: Take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20 minutes. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.
If Swallowed: Call a poison control center or doctor immediately for treatment advice. Have person sip a glass of water if able to swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless told to do so by a poison control center or doctor. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
If in Eyes: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.
If Inhaled: Move person to fresh air. If person is not breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then give artificial respiration, preferably mouth to mouth if possible. Call a poison control center or doctor for further treatment advice.

Fly Zap Aerosol Caution
Harmful if absorbed through skin. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. Prolonged or frequently repeated skin contact may cause allergic reactions in some individuals. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet.
Environmental Hazards
This pesticide is toxic to aquatic organisms, including fish and invertebrates. Do not apply directly to or near water. Drift and run-off may be hazardous to fish in water adjacent to treated area. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment, washwater, or rinsate. See Directions for Use for additional precautions and requirements.
This product is highly toxic to bees exposed to direct treatment on blooming crops or weeds. Do not apply this product or allow it to drift to blooming crops or weeds while bees are actively visiting the treatment area.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE):
Applicators and other handlers must wear the following:
- Long-sleeve shirt and long pants;
- Socks and shoes; and
- Chemical-resistant gloves (such as barrier laminate, nitrile rubber, or viton).
USER SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Follow manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning/maintaining PPE. If no such instructions for washables exist, use detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately from other laundry.
Physical Or Chemical Hazards
Contents under pressure. Do not use or store near heat or open flame. Do not puncture or incinerate container. Exposure to temperatures above 130° F may cause bursting. Do not use this product in or on electrical equipment due to possible shock hazard.
Fly Zap™ Aerosol contains the quick killing botanical insecticide, Pyrethrum, (an extract of a Chrysanthemum flower), which provides effective control of insects upon direct contact with an added benefit of repelling these insects to aid in a more complete control.
Fly Zap™ Aerosol can be used in listed animal quarters. This product provides fast, effective control and repellency of the listed pests. Fly Zap™ Aerosol can also be used on listed livestock and horses for quick control of pests on these animals.

Fly Zap™ Aerosol can be used in restaurants and other listed areas to control, on contact, listed crawling pests and is a fast, effective product for flying insect control. Effectively controls exposed stages of stored product pests without persistent residue problems because it breaks down quickly on treated surfaces exposed to light.

Directions For Use
It is a violation of Federal Law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling.
Use Restrictions
Except when applying to livestock, do not enter or allow others to enter until sprays have dried. Except when applying to livestock, do not enter or allow others to enter until vapors, mists, and aerosols have dispersed, and the treated area has been thoroughly ventilated.
Except when applying to livestock, do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift. Only protected handlers may be in the area during application.
Do not remain in treated area. Exit area immediately and remain outside the treated area until aerosols, vapors, and/or mists have dispersed.
Do not wet articles to point of run-off or drip. Do not use treated article until spray has dried.
Do not use in aircraft.
When used in indoor residential areas as a space spray: Remove or cover exposed food and drinking water before application. Remove or cover dishes, utensils, food processing equipment, and food preparation surfaces, or wash them before use.
In commercial food handling and processing facilities: Do not make space spray applications when facility is in operation. Prior to space spray applications, cover or remove food. Prior to space spray applications, cover food processing surfaces or clean after treatment and before use.
Remove pets, birds and cover fish aquaria before space spraying.
When used in Dairy Barns or facilities: Close milk bulk tank lids to prevent contamination from spray and from dead or falling insects. Remove or cover milking utensils before application. Wash teats of animals before milking.
All outdoor applications must be limited to spot or crack-and-crevice treatments only, except for the following permitted uses:
1) Treatment to soil or vegetation around structures;
2) Applications to lawns, turf, and other vegetation;
3) Applications to building foundations, up to a maximum height of 3 feet.
Other than applications to building foundations, all outdoor applications to impervious surfaces such as sidewalks, driveways, patios, porches and structural surfaces (such as windows, doors and eaves) are limited to spot and crack-and-crevice applications, only.
Do not water the treated area to the point of run-off.
Do not make outdoor applications in the rain.
Not for use in outdoor residential misting systems.
Do not apply directly into sewers or drains, or to any area like a gutter where drainage to sewers, storm drains, water bodies, or aquatic habitat can occur. Do not allow the product to enter any drain during or after application.
READ ALL DIRECTIONS COMPLETELY BEFORE USE. For most effective results, follow directions for specific use areas.
SHAKE BEFORE USE AND AT INTERVALS DURING PROLONGED USE. Hold container upright with nozzle away from face. Press valve down and spray as directed.
FOR USE IN ANIMAL QUARTERS, Barns, Dairies, Milking Parlors, Milking Rooms, Poultry Houses and Other listed animal areas: For rapid control of Flies, Mosquitoes, Gnats, Stable Fly, House Fly, Horse Fly, Lesser House Fly, Deer Fly, Horn Fly, Black Fly: Spray at the rate of 5 to 10 seconds per 1000 cubic feet of space directing the spray toward the ceiling and upper corners and not directly towards the animals or birds. For best results, close doors and windows if possible, before spraying and keep them closed for 10 to 15 minutes. Applicator should vacate the treated area and ventilate it prior to returning. Repeat as necessary.
FOR USE ON LIVESTOCK: To protect beef cattle, dairy cattle, horses and other livestock from attacks and to kill and repel Stable Flies, Horse Flies, Deer Flies, House Flies, Horn Flies, Lesser House Flies, Mosquitoes and Gnats, spray about 3 seconds on each side being careful to spray back withers and forelegs thoroughly. Repeat as necessary, but no more than once per day.
To protect from Face Flies, spray the face and head or spray on a cloth and rub on the face being certain to avoid contact with the eyes. Repeat treatment as necessary when flies are troublesome but not more than once per day.
For effective control of biting and sucking lice on cattle horses, sheep, goats and hogs, spray to thoroughly wet the hair of the animal including the head and brush off the tail. Repeat treatment in 10 days to kill newly hatched lice.
To control poultry lice and exposed stages of Darkling Beetles, spray roosts, walls and nests or cages thoroughly This should be followed by spraying over the birds with a fine mist. Repeat as necessary but not more than once per day.
For control of bedbugs and mites on poultry and in poultry houses, spray crevices of roost poles, cracks in walls and cracks in nests where the bedbugs and mites hide. This should be followed by spraying over the birds with a fine mist. Repeat as necessary but not more than once per day.
To control sheep “tick” or ked, thoroughly wet all portions of the body by spraying directly into the wool. Treat at a rate to sufficiently wet the animal. Repeat as necessary but not more than once per day.
To kill fleas and ixodid ticks on livestock and to obtain protection against reinfestation, spray to wet animal. Repeat as necessary but not more than once per day.
SPACE TREATMENT INDOORS: For maximum efficacy, close all doors and windows, turn off fans and air conditioner and spray upward into center of room with slow sweeping motion. Spray 5 to 10 seconds for average size room (1,000 cubic feet)(10 ft. x 12 ft. x 8 ft.) Keep room closed for 15 minutes after spraying. Ventilate room for 5 minutes before entry. For use in Food Areas of Food Handling Establishments: When applying space treatment in food handling areas, the food handling operation should be shut down. In food processing areas, all utensils, shelving, etc., where food will be handled should be covered or removed before treatment or washed with an effective cleaning compound followed by a potable water rinse prior to use.
Flies, Gnats, Mosquitoes, Flying Moths, exposed stages of Indian Meal Moth, Angoumois Grain Moth, Tobacco Moth, Clothes Moth, Chocolate Moth, Almond Moth, Miller Moth and other listed flying insects: Direct spray into all parts of the room, with special attention to hiding places. Sweep up and destroy fallen insects. Repeat as necessary.
Exposed Stages of Indian Meal Moth, Angoumois Grain Moth, Tobacco Moth, Chocolate Moth, Almond Moth, Millers and other flying moths: Direct spray into all parts of room, especially around stored food product containers, pallets and darkened areas. Infested stored products should be fumigated or treated with EPA approved products. Repeat as necessary.
SPACE TREATMENT OUTDOORS: Adult Mosquito, Gnat, Midge, Fly and Flying Insect Control: Use prior to entry outdoors to reduce annoyance from these and other flying pests. Spray around patio, porches, gazebos, shrubbery, vegetation and any other listed areas where mosquitoes may rest. For best results, treat when the wind velocity does not exceed 5 miles per hour. Repeat as necessary.
SURFACE TREATMENT INDOOR: Contact as many insects as possible with this spray. Apply spray at the rate of 30 seconds for each 100 square feet of surface area. Keep area closed for 45 minutes after treatment. Ventilate room 20 minutes before re-entry.
Cockroaches (Smoky Brown Cockroach, Brown Banded Cockroach, Asian Cockroach, German Cockroach, American Cockroach, Australian Cockroach, Oriental Cockroach, (Waterbugs, Palmetto Bugs), Crickets, Firebrat, Silverfish, Booklice, Scorpions, Spiders, Centipedes, Sowbugs, Pillbugs, Earwigs, Clover Mites, Lice and Millipedes: Thoroughly spray all parts of the room suspected of harboring these pests. Special attention should be paid to hiding places such as crack and crevices, behind and beneath sinks, stoves, refrigerators, around garbage cans, cabinets, along baseboards, door sills, frames and floors, around drains, pipes, plumbing, behind bookcases, storage and other utility installation areas contacting insects with spray whenever possible. Repeat as necessary.
Exposed stages of Flour Beetles, Cadelles, Rice Weevils, Flat Grain Beetles, Cigarette Beetle, Confused Flour Beetle, Drugstore Beetle, Lesser Grain Borer, Merchant Grain Beetle, Saw-toothed Grain Beetle, Grain Weevils, Warehouse Beetle, Red Flour Beetle, Grain Mites, Cheesemites, Flour Beetles, and Indian Mealworm. Find and destroy infested package goods (sacks, boxes, cartons, containers),. Remove all other items from shelves and drawers and clean thoroughly. Spray into cracks and crevices, shelves, drawers, cabinets, processing and handling equipment, around cartons or containers and other areas where these insects tend to congregate. Repeat as necessary.
Ants, Foraging Fire Ants, Pharaoh Ants, Carpenter Ants (Eastern, Western): Treat doors around window frames, ant trails and hills and other areas of entry. Spray on ants where possible. Repeat as necessary.
Carpet Beetles (Dermestids, Trogoderma): Directly spray as many insects as possible. Spray both interior and exterior of furniture. Both top and bottom of rugs and carpets should be sprayed thoroughly, where possible. Also treat shelves, closets, areas under furniture, floors, walls, baseboards and wherever these insects are seen or suspected. Repeat as necessary.
Clothes Moths and other Flying Moths: Remove any infested articles from storage, brush thoroughly, and air for several hours in sunlight, if possible. Apply liberally to empty chests, bureaus and other storage areas directing the spray into cracks, joints, and crevices. Return clean articles after spray has thoroughly dried. Repeat as necessary.
Bedbugs: Spray mattresses, particularly around tufts and seams. Take beds apart and spray into all joints. Treat baseboards, moldings and floors. Allow treated fabric to dry thoroughly before using. Repeat as necessary.
FOR USE IN CANNERIES: Thoroughly clean floors, conveying equipment and walls, with special attention to cracks and crevices, prior to bringing in produce. Spray the entire space inside of the cannery including walls, ceiling and floors, paying special attention to forcing the spray into all cracks and crevices for the control of ants, cockroaches, silverfish, crickets, spiders, fruit flies, moths, house flies, cheese mites and other listed insects. Repeat as necessary.
FOR USE IN FOOD AND NONFOOD AREAS OF FOOD PROCESSING PLANTS, Industrial Installations, Bakeries, Rice and Wheat Mills, Restaurants, Tobacco Warehouses, Grain Elevators and Warehouses: Spray as directed to control listed flying and crawling insects. The use of this product in food processing or food handling establishments should be confined to time periods when the plant is not in operation. Food should be covered or removed during treatment. Repeat as necessary.
FOR USE IN STORAGE SITES: This product can be used in warehouse bins and trucks, cargo ships, mills, bin hoppers, elevators and conveying equipment as a clean up prior to using them for storage. In mills and elevators, all grain infested accumulations should be removed from the bin hoppers. All storage and conveying equipment should be thoroughly cleaned by sweeping out the waste grain, cobwebs and other debris from the walls and rafters as well as on the floor and door frames with special attention to material lodged in the cracks and crevices. All of the debris should be removed and burned to kill eggs and insects that might be present.
FOR FARMS, particular attention should be given to cleaning up around the used feed and grain bags, grain residues from wagons, harvesting equipment and feed troughs. Newly harvested grain should not be placed in the same bin with carry-over grain and all carry-over grain stocks that are not treated with grain protectant should be fumigated. These cleaning operations should be done within two or three weeks before harvest.
After above sanitation measures have been employed, spray all areas prior to use for storage as directed.
Fleas and Ticks: FOR USE IN LISTED PET AREAS. Remove and either launder or destroy pet’s old bedding. To reduce infestation, thoroughly spray the animal’s clean bedding, sleeping quarters, kennel, around baseboards, window and door frames, wall cracks, local areas of floors and other resting places until the surface is slightly moist. Treat these areas at the rate of two seconds per linear foot at the distance of 12 to 18 inches. Also spray the entire inside surface of dog houses. Put fresh bedding in pet’s quarters after spray has dried. Allow treated areas to dry thoroughly before allowing pets to re-enter. For best results, pets should be treated with an EPA registered flea and tick control product before they return to the treated area. DO NOT TREAT PETS WITH THIS PRODUCT. Repeat as necessary.
