FOR TOPICAL USE IN HEALTHY SHOW PIGS TO MITIGATE THE DETRIMENTAL EFFECTS OF STRESS

100 mg of MSAS/mL

PRODUCT INDICATION: FerAppease® should be applied before animals are exposed to stressful practices such as weaning, transportation, tethering, farrowing, training, handling, arrival at shows, during the show, etc.

Directions For Use

For show pigs weighing less than 250 lb, apply 5 mL of FerAppease® to the skin above the muzzle and forehead. For show pigs weighing 250 lb or more, apply 10 mL of FerAppease® to the skin above the muzzle and forehead.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD: FerAppease® is not a drug, medical device, hormone or vaccine. PRE-SLAUGHTER WITHDRAWAL INTERVAL IS NOT REQUIRED WHEN THIS PRODUCT IS USED ACCORDING TO LABEL DIRECTIONS.

Description

FerAppease® contains an analogue of the naturally occurring Maternal Swine Appeasing Substance (MSAS). In its natural form, MSAS is secreted by the sebaceous glands located on the skin of the mammary gland, serving the unique function of supporting an appeasing effect and promoting a normal feed intake.

Storage

Store at controlled room temperature of 50°F - 86°F (10°C - 30°C).
