SALMONELLA TYPHIMURIUM BACTERIN-TOXOID

This product has been shown to be effective for the vaccination of healthy cattle including pregnant cattle in the third trimester against endotoxin-mediated diseases caused by Escherichia coli, Salmonella typhimurium, Pasteurella multocida, Mannheimia haemolytica, and mastitis due to E. Coli. This product was licensed prior to the requirement to define a minimum age for use. The duration of immunity is unknown. ADMINISTRATION & DOSAGE: Two doses are necessary for optimum immunization. Inject 2 ml intramuscularly. Inject 2 ml intramuscularly 2-3 weeks following the first dose. Shake well before each use and administer using normal aseptic technique. Historically, annual revaccination has been recommended for this product. This need for this booster has not been established. Contact your veterinarian or manufacturer for more information on revaccination frequency.

Store at 2°-8° C (35°-46° F). Do not Freeze. Do not use within 21 days of slaughter. Use entire contents when opened. Do not mix with other products. Transient local reactions may occur at the injection site. If anaphylactic response occurs, administer epinephrine or its equivalent. In case of human exposure, contact a physician.
