Causes severe skin burns and eye damage. Harmful if swallowed. Very toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects. May be harmful if inhaled. (based on components). Long Term: Occupational exposure to strong-inorganic-acid mists containing sulfuric acid is carcinogenic to humans.

PREVENTION: Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. Do not breathe dust/fume/gas/mist/vapors/spray. Wash hands thoroughly after handling. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Avoid release to the environment.

FIRST AID/RESPONSE:

IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.

IF INHALED: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Immediately call a POISON CENTRE or doctor/physician.

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.

IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting.

Storage

Collect spillage. Store locked up. Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep container tightly closed.

Disposal

Dispose of contents/container in accordance with all local and national regulations.

Description

DuraHoof is a cost effective liquid replacement for dry copper sulfate and other footbath products. May be used in automated or manually prepared footbaths.

USAGE: To be used in Footbath located outside of milking parlor. Must be diluted prior to use. See usage rate.

USAGE RATE IN FOOTBATHS: For a 10% Solution use (1:9) dilution ratio - 1 part DuraHoof to 9 parts water. Example: In a 50 gal bath use 5 gal DuraHoof and 45 gal water. Throughput: Maximum 100 cow passes for every 10 gallons of footbath solution. Example: 50 gallon footbath, maximum 500 cow passes.

CLOSE CAP TIGHTLY AFTER EACH USE TO PREVENT CRYSTALLIZATION.
