DL-Methionine Tablets Caution

Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.

Each Tablet Contains

Dosage

Suggested dose of DL-Methionine tablet 200mg for adult cats is one (1) tablet per 10lb (4.5kg) body weight three or four times daily with food. For dogs one-half (1/2) tablet per 10lb (4.5kg) body weight once or twice daily with food.

Suggested dose of DL-Methionine tablet 500mg for adult cats is one (1) tablet per 10lb (4.5kg) body weight once or twice daily with food. For dogs one-half (1/2) tablet per 10lb (4.5kg) body weight once or twice daily with food.

Dosage should be adjusted to maintain urine pH consistently below 6.6. Not intended for use in kittens.

Do not dispense in this container. Dispense in tight, light resistant containers as defined in the USP.

Precautions

Discontinue use in animals with symptoms of sensitivity. Do not administer to animals with severe liver or kidney damage or to animals exhibiting acidosis.

DL-Methionine Tablets Indications

For use as a urinary acidifier in cats and dogs.

Storage

Keep tightly closed in a cool, dry place at controlled room temperature 15°-30°C (59°-86°F)
